Be respectful to other players
. Remember that this is a game, and that other players are people too. While it's okay to get heated, and to use manipulation, it is not okay to get personal, offensive, or overbearingly toxic.

Play to have fun!
Again, remember that this is a game. You should be having fun. Try to play in a way that is fun for both you and other players.
4.
Play to win!
While gambits are fine, you should under no circumstance actively attempt to harm your faction's chances to win. If you don't want to play anymore, it is okay to replace out.

In particular, don't try to prove private communication
with the mod or with other players, such as by directly quoting or copy pasting from PMs or PTs. Paraphrasing is fine.

Eliminations
- An elimination will happen when a majority of votes is achieved (50% of living players + 1 rounded down),
or by plurality at the end of the day's deadline
. Ties will be resolved by wagon seniority.
4.
Day length
- The first day will last 10 days, or until a majority of votes is achieved. Subsequent days will last 7 days or until a majority of votes is achieved.
5.
Twilight
- If a day ends by majority, I will give a minimum of one hour twilight before I lock the thread.
6.
Nights last 48 hours
. if all living players request fast night, the night will end at earliest convenience for the mod.
1.
You are expected to post at least once every 36 hours
. If you do not, you will receive a prod. You will also receive a prod for not making game advancing content when you do post.
2.
When prodded, you have 24 hours to post
. The posts should be game-advancing, otherwise they don't count.
3.
If you fail to post in time, you will be replaced
. You can keep the slot if you come back before I find a replacement.
4.
Multiple prods
- If you get prodded too much, or post non-game-advancing content in attempt to avoid prods or replacements, I may force-replace you. This is up to my discretion and won't be used before trying to straighten it out with you first.
5.
Game end
- At the end of the game, you may be required to be active within a time period smaller than once every 36 hours. Please refer to the game-specific rules below for more information.

Please read the setup
. I cannot stress this enough. I will not accept any post-game complaints of players who have not read the setup.
2. In the case that a townie is hammered in 7p ELo, the mafia will be given
a maximum of 24 hours
from the moment the hammer vote was cast to make their choice of which members of the mafia to publicly flip. This choice should be submitted in the Mafia PT in bold.
3. However, it is expected that all players, including the mafia, will check in by PM upon seeing the hammer so that this phase can be processed more quickly than 24 hours.
4. After the mafia has made their choice, the thread will be unlocked, the flips revealed, and the assassin will need to submit their guess (in bold) of who the mafia are. Discussion is still allowed by all unflipped players at this point. The game will end after the guess is submitted and the alignment of the assassination target is revealed.
5. If the above rules didn't make sense to you, it's because you didn't read the setup like I asked you to.
6. The mafia must kill every night, and if no kill is submitted I will randomize one.
