Viva La Woman is one of my favorite records of all time, so that was an easy 12 points to give, even if Birthday Cake is one of the lesser tracks I think. Another great Chile song. Also damn I was expecting a more cheeky pop-punky cover, Hayley Williams is incredible.

EDIT: Oh also I may be interested in taking over Song Contests, or at least helping out if ya still need it.

Charles Wesley Godwin - Another Leaf
Is this... country music?! And it's... making me enjoy it?! What sorcery is this. Did I turn into a redneck or something? The quiet depressed part in the middle almost feels out of place, it was going great with what it had already. I guess the energy afterward might not work as well without it?

Lemon Jelly - A Tune for Jack
This was shockingly effective at getting me to actually just clear my mind and have no other thoughts intruding (not that I was using that to focus on the music either). I really kinda needed that. I should try putting it on again just before bed.

80s style dance music? Sure, why not.

Freezepop - Bike Thief
If it gives you an impression how bad my hearing is with this distortion, this song title is literally "Bike Thief" and I was hearing the singer say "I am a bike. beef" over and over before I finally realized what I was supposed to be hearing. This kind of took me out of paying attention to it but I guess the electronica music was somewhat interesting.

Ancient Bards - Light
I feel like this is the sort of piece that should catch my interest, but for some reason it wasn't really. Maybe the dramatic backtones were too ubiquitous, or maybe I'm just not in the right mindset for it at the moment.

Paramore - Burning Down the House
A classic, everyone knows this refrain, right?

iamamiwhoami- chasing kites
The rippling echoing distortion made the lyrics basically impossible for me to make out, so all I've got is the upbeat vibes which is fine but never did anything to make me especially interested.

Inabakumori ft. Kaai Yuki - Lagtrain
It was kind of playful and also a little eerie so it's got some interesting vibes. But it also was pretty repetitive.

Pool Kids - Arm's Length
Nothing really made me want to listen to whatever they were singing about, I guess there was some fine rock music around it.

Macha y el Bloque Depresivo - Aunque No Sea Conmigo
Shrug. Didn't really do anything for me.

Izzy S.O - Growing Pains
I'm just not really in the right frame of mind for any of this, am I? A slow, steady song like this needs to be able to get me to pay attention to the lyrics and it didn't.

Cibo Matto - Birthday Cake
This screaming sounds painful. Actively would not want to listen to this again because of it.

Glad to see some of y'all saw my vision with Growing Pains. I don't know what it is, I just like the song even if it's not ground-breaking. It's comforting, it's emotional, it's soft.

Congrats Pink Ball! I listened to your song several times and even shared it with my husband, cuz he lived in South America for 2 years. He was kinda falling asleep at the time so he didn't give it the appreciation it deserved, but I tried.
