God rest his evil soul....hopefully
Thats a little quick to send him off.. we shoulda given him at least one more chance for him to convince us of innocense. Not that i expect that it would have been any better than his previous inconsistant wishy washy stuff from earlier.-

As the town scrambles around, looking for mafia, the citizens are bemused by
two citizens, PBuG and Jazzred, confessing to -be- mafia. The two, apparently
members of rival mafia families, immediately set to bickering, as the town
watches with intrest.
Finally, PBug loses the argument, and the town quickly finds a lampost and
hangs him from it, then searches his corpse. On it is a Symphony Mafia
membership card, business cards reading "bodyguard for hire", and
conspiciously, no deadly weaponry.
Pbug (Sticks, Symphony Mafia Bodyguard), has been lynched by the town.
It is now NIGHT. Send in your choices ASAP.
[if everyone gets their choices in by midnight, I'll try to start a new day
before going on vacation, otherwise it will wait until when I get back]-

Since it was a lone gunman, that probably signifies A serial Killer or a Vigilante right?
Also, look at this:
The one on the first night was the several machine guns. The second night, that didnt' turn up. So, what's that mean, the mafia didn't get a kill last night? is there a doc in this game?Tigris (Lt. Niceguy, Cop): Killed by a lone asssassin
PolarBoy (Captain Happy, Crooked Cop): Pulverized by several machine gunners
PbUG (Sticks, Symphony Mafia Bodyguard), lynched by the town.
Rite(Shards, Thief): Killed by a lone assassin-

I'd give long odds against Rite being selected by a vig. I'm leaning towards believing we have a SK in this game. That would make the mafia masons pro-town.FinalFear wrote:Since it was a lone gunman, that probably signifies A serial Killer or a Vigilante right?

But it's the last sentence that changes my FOS into aVote:FinalFearof course there is a doc (or another type protector). Geez, even the mafia had a "Bodyguard."
Care to explain your vote yesterday? You claimed it was random, but if you had other reasons we'd like to hear it.
To the rest of the town:Hello out there. Mini 50 needs your input. I promise to be Freindly."Hmm, wow.. I'll just sit back and watch the stupidity continue to unfold.. "- genku Mixed Theme -

As the morning moves into full heat (and the mod posts from Mexico),
various copies ofThe Newer York Timesappear on the streets.
On page 1, the following story stands out:
This newspaper received an anonymous tip-off just before night 1 that Fishbulb may have been involved in plans to kill. Here at the Newer York Times we take these such tip-offs very seriously, so we set out to follow Fishbulb, only to find he spent the night alone, and was seen to be doing nothing very suspicious at all.
The Reporter.-

Unvote:FinalFear...but I'd still like to hear an explanation.
I guess Fishbulbs comments on the newspaper will have to wait till monday. Grr.
To the Mod: Can you get replacements for the 6 players who have yet to participate Day 2. I'd really like to play. Hope your vacation is going well."Hmm, wow.. I'll just sit back and watch the stupidity continue to unfold.. "- genku Mixed Theme -

ROFL, I'm still alive. Then again, there was no mafia kill last night.
Now, I'llVote: FinalFear. This is because he seems like the best choice. Asking about a doc, and that first post on day 1 is still on my mind.
Also, about Fishbulb - I wonder what exactly that post means (the reporters). If he was suspected, is it likely that he actually does? Perhaps Vigilante or nothing at all.Guess what? No. You're wrong. The answer's 7.-

Is it possible that Fishbulb knew the papers would follow him, and didn't kill last night, which is why we only had one kill?
Gslamm, why exactly do you say that? Why wouldn't a vigilante kill Rite?I'd give long odds against Rite being selected by a vig. I'm leaning towards believing we have a SK in this game."It's only a bunny!"-

I'd hold off on that. I, for one, wasn't able to participate because of the blackout. I wouldn't be surprised if others were cut off by it also.gslamm wrote:To the Mod: Can you get replacements for the 6 players who have yet to participate Day 2. I'd really like to play. Night Stalker, I think the reason gslamm thinks it wasn't a vigilante is because there was only one kill last night.
I'm going tofos: FinalFear. I'd vote, but that puts him at three, I think.-

A vigilante might decide the town was better off without JazzRed or FinalFear. A SK (or the mafia) would probably avoid them since the controversie surrounding them makes it more likely they'll get lynched anyways. If it was a vig, they were probably also responsible for Tigris night 1 kill. That would just be so wrong...
This makes me feel rite might have been a SK hit.
I'm puzzled over the 1 kill. The only explanation I can imagine is a doc or other blocker (maybe a reporter?). I reserve my opinion on FishBulb until he returns with some kind of explanation. I encourage the rest of you to do the same. FinalFear is still the most suspicious to me.
I take back the replacement request, I wasn't thinking about the power outage."Hmm, wow.. I'll just sit back and watch the stupidity continue to unfold.. "- genku Mixed Theme -

I'm still here
Yes I do believe there is an SK amongst us, a vigilante, to me doesn’t quite fit the "lone assassin" role. I also think that there is very likely to be a pro-town blocking role (what kind of mafia chooses not to kill?), hence the lack of a mafia hit last night. Asking "is there a doc" is pretty blatant..
FOS: Finalfear
and
I'm still not convinced that a mason group would be given the label ofmafiathough particularly aas stated in mneme's day 1 opening post. "Notorious" to me means bad things.notoriousCarnegie Mafia

Well, I wish I had an explanation to give you. I have no idea what that newspaper has to do with anything... especially, why is that front page material? Anyway, I did not receive any information about this newspaper business. I'm guessing someone has some sort of ability to investigate someone, and instead of a pm they get the results in the morning newspaper. Just a guess.
Back to the main business at hand, I'm staying with FF for now.Fishblog!-

Hmmm. I was kinda hopeing for more...
FinalFear: Were still waiting for an explanation for your day one vote for JazzRed. Your "Is there a doc?" comment is making you seem suspicious also. I (and others) are only holding off voting to let you defend yourself.
Jasonpingpong: Feel free to join in the game. Really, it's a lot more fun when everyone participates."Hmm, wow.. I'll just sit back and watch the stupidity continue to unfold.. "- genku Mixed Theme -

Sorry, I've been helping my aunt pack for about 4 days, so i wasn't able to get on the 'net.
Anyway, the first explantion of the day one vote. I really just did it because I needed to post, it was Day 1, and i was really busy. Didn't think it would do so much
Second explanation: I've seen Mafia games where there is actually NOT a doc, but, some people are immune to being killed the second night, or first, or what not.-

Things are going very slowly on Day 2..
As i make it we need 5/8 to get a lynch?
FinalFear is on 2 from what i can see.
Vote: FinalFearmight speed things up.
MOD:let us know when you get back aye
More discussion is required... we currently dont have much to go on, and need someone to make a slip-up
I still cant get over the fact that a mason group would be labelled a mafia family? very suspicious i reckon.-

I'm afraid thats why some players may be posting so little.Riven wrote:More discussion is required... we currently dont have much to go on, and need someone to make a slip-up

I'm not sure what else to go on here. Fishbulb didn't do anything suspicious last night,(per the paper) and there was no mafia kill last night. Hmmm... How 'bout it Neighbor?
For now I'm buying the mason/retired mafia thing... but am keeping my eye on JazzRed. I feel if we don't get confirmation of his story soon ...
FinalFear's explanation was kind of weak, but I'm inclined to believe it. Should we force a role claim? Yep!"Hmm, wow.. I'll just sit back and watch the stupidity continue to unfold.. "- genku Mixed Theme -
