Well now, Mordecai... what can I possibly answer to that? I go above and beyond to help out my fellow DHIs, and all I receive in exchange are accusations and insults? You've hurt me deeply. I'm sure when you emerged from your long slumber, sporting two ferocious, wickedly-edged weapons and a new, dark outlook on life, no one treated you with such distrust. Why don't I deserve the same? Why the cold shoulder?

'Witch' was actually what I thought was an apt description, given your magic-based abilities. Also, we actually fought our way through the underworld, amongst other unpleasant locales, thank you very much. (The weapons were nice souvenirs, I must admit.)

Our Energy totals were never inaccurate, whereas yours has been undeniably proven to be a falsehood. Now, tell me. If you were in my position and managed to notice such a thing, what would you think? Your Energy total is not as it as it would appear and I find it difficult to think up an innocuous reason for this. Further, I find it even less plausible that one exists for hiding it. And if I may be so blunt, I've noticed that you've failed to answer my question. Why is that?

Very well. One of my powers, as of yet unrevealed, is called Arcane Cipher. It grants me an additional 20 energy to use for every magic-user ally in combat. It is because of the additional 4 energy I've received from the Cipher that I was able to cast the fourth spell. I actually hadn't realized that I had that energy until kloud reminded me.
If there was a reason I don't answer all of your questions, it may be because I don't fully trust you. It may also be because I believe there is a lot to be said in keeping a card up your sleeve, just in case.

We're not to be trusted? Frankly, we're not the one who organized Andrew Brown's death. Also, I find it incredibly unlikely that five DHIs, with more powers, energy, and weapons that any one of you possess (or so it seems), would have been returned to the game if they were traitors to the cause. The sheer imbalance it would incur to the game is ludicrous to even consider.

Also, pardon me if I don't believe you. Not only does the name sound out of place, in my mind, I also find its effect extremely unlikely. Most powers are unrevealed until their use and you have no way of knowing exactly how much, if any, extra energy you would have to spend because you have no way of knowing how many characters possess magic-based powers. Also, why wasn't it revealed in the scene or your listed powers, as it had a considerably noticible effect given the fourth Polymorph spell would only be possible because of it?

I know what you mean by keeping cards up your sleeve, though. I'm keeping at least three, myself.

of the DHIs, just you. Perhaps you're familiar with TvTropes? These will help illuminate what I mean. Simply put, you're arrival seems too good to be true, and every team-up has one...
On to my power: I fail to see why the name is "out of place", so I cannot argue with you there. Perhaps if you were to be more specific, I could give you my take on it. As for whether it should be revealed, or whether it requires other powers to be revealed to work, I can comment.
First, unlike active powers, passive powers are not always revealed immediately upon effect. Take Bob Kaddidle's first power; it wasn't revealed immediately, despite him using it so soon. We knew of its effect because he specifically told us.
As for identifying spellcasters, I think you may be misinterpreting it (or maybe I am). This is actually the first battle I've even had it take effect, so I'm walking on thin ice trying to describe its specifics, but basically, I get energy from Guardian Mage and Daffy, both obvious examples of spellcasters (note the giant sticks they carry with them, its also good to look out for silly, pointed hats).

All five of us returned at the same time, so I'm unsure how you would come to single me out of the Elementals. My theory is that it is partially 'cause I'm the only vocal one, and happen to be the person pressing you. Some ol' fashioned OMGUS, in other words. (Also, I'm the Smart Guy of the Five Man Band. It just doesn't sound like something kloud'd use as a power name. I can't be more specific than that, but it bothers me.

I think you're missing the point on the next point. For all you know, I could have a magic-based power. How do you know whom does and who doesn't possess one and thus the amount of energy added to your spending? While

and the Guardian Mage are two obvious examples, I can tell you from my own knowledge that there are such examples that aren't immediately obvious. And from my understanding, it was precisely because of Bob's divulgation and kloud's dislike of mass power reveal that it wasn't immediately shown.
