General Rules
0. This is a game. Have fun. Don't let things get personal.
1. The game will start with Day. Mafia communication is allowed during the Pre-Game.
2. During Day, you may vote for the player you want to lynch. Votes should be in the form
Vote: Player
or they may not be counted. It is helpful, but not necessary, to
Unvote
when switching your vote to a different player.
3. Whenever a player has reached a majority in votes, that player will be lynched and his role will be revealed. (See Game Specific Rule 1)
4.
If discussion lags, a deadline may be set. The deadline will be 72 hours, which may be extended an additional 72 hours if half the living players PM the Moderator requesting an extension.
This rule will not be in effect in this game
5. Do not talk outside the thread. You are only allowed to communicate outside of the thread if your role specifically states this is possible, and only during the times your role mentions.
6. If you're dead, you're dead. Do not talk until the game is over; this includes talking to living players outside the thread. One "Bah" post is acceptable

, but I reserve the right to ban players from any subsequent games I run for violations.
7. This game will start with a 3-week soft deadline for Day 1, with a maximum 1-week extension. Each proceeding day will have a 2-week soft deadline with a maximum 1-week extension.
8. Extensions are NOT guaranteed. I am sole arbiter of if an extension will be allowed. Replacements are one of the few reasons an extension will be granted.
9. If you have any question, complaint, or comment, PM the Moderator. I may not PM you back.
10. If you decide to replace out of my game, please send me a PM tot hat regard. Anyone who simply disappears will be placed on my Black List.
11. "Lurking" is not a viable strategy in my game. Posting without what I deem content will be counted as lurking. Prods will be swift, and you MUST respond to a Prod within thread. If you do not post something with content within 72 hours of a Prod, I will replace you as if you disappeared and you will be Black Listed.
12. Players will be eligible for a Prod if they do not post in a 72 hour time frame with a post I deem as having content. Players may request Prods, but I will only Prod if a player is currently derelict in their duty.
13. If you will be V/LA for an extended period of time, please inform me. If that period is greater than 7 days, I will replace you. V/LA will not be an excuse for lurking unless it is cleared by me.
14. Quoting any communication I have sent you in a PM is a Mod-Kill offense. There will be no warnings.
15. I reserve the right to add or remove rules as I see fit.
16. General Jackassery Clause: This Clause was added as a catch-all for anything not mentioned above or below. Anything which I feel is done that is detrimental to the game will be dealt with swiftly. If you are thinking of doing something that you believe might be considered Jackassery, PM me and I will tell you if it is or not.
17. You may not ever edit your posts. Doing so will provoke a Mod-Kill.

Game-Specific Rules
1. This game will use a delayed lynch-reveal.
1a. Characters who are lynched will have their role revealed at the beginning of the next Day, after the Night Phase.
1b. Because of this rule, once you are lynched you may not post during twilight. You may post your Bah post AFTER your role is revealed during the day. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a Mod-Kill.
2. You may not replace into this game after you have been lynched or killed in any way.
3. All Night kills will have flavor attached to them.
4. This is Wheel of Time.
5. I reserve the right to add or remove rules as I see fit.
6. If there is a conflict between a rule and a role, the general principal is that the role wins.
7.Nights will last approximately 72 hours. Any night actions not received in the first 72 hours of the night may not activate.
General Knowledge
Knowledge of the Wheel of Time books may be useful, but is not essential. The following general knowledge should be enough for this game.
First, the basic townie PM:
You are a villager from a small town and have never been to a really big city. However you recently have been hearing rumors that the Dragon has been Reborn! Immediately you decided to take up arms and join the Dragon Reborn in his fight against the Shadow!
…If only you knew where he was…
You decided there was only one way to find him, and that was to go to the Stone of Tear. You know, from the prophecies of the Dragon, that the Dragon must eventually pull Callandor from the Stone.
So you joined a group of people who left from Baerlon who were headed toward the Stone. The problem is… some of them might be dark friends, and have more devious intentions…
Ability(s):
Vote: You have the vote ability. This ability allows you to vote during the day to lynch a player should that player gain votes from the majority of living players.
Win Condition(s):
Town: You win the game when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Second, everyone in the world knows that Aes Sedai exist. Additionally, you know they are bound by the Three Oaths. They are:
Under the Light, I vow to speak no word that is not true.
Under the Light, I vow never to make a weapon for one man to kill another.
Under the Light, I vow not to use the One Power as a weapon, except against Shadowspawn, or in the last defense of my life, the life of my Warder, or that of another Sister.
There may or may not be Aes Sedai in this game. If they are, they will be bound to these oaths.
Finally, for people who know the books, this game takes place approximately 500 years before the first book. Almost no one who is alive in the books will ever be in this game.
