V3.2

The Norfolk terrier has quite a few traits in common with my pupster. Ears that flop forward, curved tail (though not to the side, usually), and a short snout (something many terrier breeds don't have). but they are quite small: 9-10 inches at the shoulders, and 11-12 lbs. Still, a maybe.

Can you explain why you had me as hard town at this time? Was it just for the claim or something else?

I'd also like you to answer the question about what made you start having doubts about the Jason wagon.

You will tell us now exactly which post made you suddenly have doubts.

Note that if it's me calling Mewtaph the person who i thought was Jailkeeper, you must explain how that makes you doubt your scum read on me, and how exactly that means you are now willing to lim someone who i think is Jailkeeper.

SeeEmpty claimed jailkeeper, I decided to reread the past several pages, which led me to reconsider my read on you. There wasn't any particular post, but the main one was and your interactions with Kowah. Yes, I am willing to lim someone who you think is Jailkeeper, just because I townread you doesn't mean that I have to follow all your reads.

Yeah, when delta claimed he was only at e-2 , and it was only halfway through D1. I thought that was an incredibly risky move if fake.

SeeEmpty claimed, so you did a reread of recent events...and it made you reconsider Jason. Okay, so when you went to reread because of SeeEmpty's claim, I don't understand why you wouldn't decide a) he's lying, and vote for him or b) telling the truth, and stay on the wagon he was championing. And you say the post that made you believe Jason was town when you'd scumread him all day was 636?
In post 636, JasonWazza wrote: Also because i have forgotten.

@Kowah/SeeEmpty, If i flip town, who would you think the scum team is, If i were to flip Scum, who would be my partner
@Mewtaph, Who are your biggest scum reads at this point?

Let's make people actually commit to proper reads shall we.
Like, what in here did Jason do that he hadn't been doing all along?

I will VOTE: T3. Everyone has risks to believe them, so I have to pick what I think is the most likely risk. For Kowah to be scum, Mew would have had to not jailkeep him. For Umlaut to be scum, his slot had to risk a pretty big false claim. For Jason to be scum, SeeEmpty would have had to have been willing to lim his partner for no reason almost all game. I believe that T3 has been deliberately staying noncommittal and out of the limelight as scum more than I believe any of the other 3 things.

My biggest fear today is not limming Umlaut, only to do it tomorrow. I have this weird feeling that if we lim them today, it's game over we win. If we lim them tomorrow they'll be town and we'll lose. It doesn't make any sense, but it's just how I imagine my luck being.

Can we get everyone's final Umlaut opinion now.

Answer this question:

Is Umlaut the Town Tracker?

I actually really don't like that Kowah question, it feels like they are trying to gauge who to take into a final 3 situation rather then work out anything useful.

Intent: T3

I think this is right. It feels a bit like the easy solution, and I went back through all of T3 and Merlyn's posts as well as SeeEmpty's to see if there was anything contraindicating it, but really there was nothing. I can't completely rule out Merlyn the way I can Jason or Kowah, but she has definitely made a few moves that are out of place for scum:
  • On Day 2, she argued
    against
SeeEmpty's slip theory on Jason, even when Kowah seemed to be buying into it and I was sort of on the fence. Doing so was probably a big part of why SeeEmpty ended up launched instead of Jason at the end of the day.
  • Today she is doing something similar, arguing I am not a serious suspect for scum when Jason is pointing out I could be, and giving sound probabilistic reasoning to that effect. If she is scum I can't imagine who she thinks she can beat in a 1v1 tomorrow after doing that.
I think the easy solution is just the correct one.

I will say the move of shooting Mew and blocking me rather than the other way around is probably
less
surprising from a new player like Mew than an experienced one like T3, but T3 has made some much stranger plays than that in past games.

I mean my paranoia still doesn't want to fully rule out Merlyn for that reason, I feel like newb scum would be the one to make a play like that, and not realize the consequences, but then again this same paranoia is basically saying your all scum.

T3 is just the one that makes the most sense, and has the least logical leaps to make in my mind.

V3.3

Image

The Irish Terrier is one of the oldest terrier breeds. It's close in size to the Standard Schnauzer, but a little smaller and the body type is described as "racy". The coat, though wiry is shorter than many wire-haired breeds. The body length is lighter and longer than most terriers, it has proportionally long legs and a much more modest beard and mustache than the Schnauzers. This ticks a lot of boxes!

T3, do you have anything to say?

I'll hammer sometime tomorrow, probably midday-ish.

V3.4 final

The Border Terrier, like the Border Collie originated on the border of England and Scotland. Proportionally, this dog is very similer to mine. Particularly the short-nosed face and long legs. It's half the size, though, weighing in at about 15 lbs.
