i don't think i want to write out something in-depth bc it's too stressful for me. the gist of it:
i am not trying to excuse any of my actions. most of this is just an explanation about how i feel. sometime yesterday at around 4 pm, something happened irl and it shook me pretty significantly. thus when i reengaged in the thread at post 445 i was just. idk i was not me. i really hated it when people called my reaction to jv ate or called me hypocritical for it. i was not feeling well at the time. it really just wasn't ate because i wasn't. appealing to anyone. i genuinely felt bad like i was going to throw up like idk coming back to thread and continuing to talk wasn't something i was really capable of at the time so i didn't bother to clarify that i didn't mean what i said about jake that way. i felt like no matter how i defended myself i would just never be able to win or do anything so i self-voted because i genuinely felt that unmotivated and hopeless. i'm not saying that's the fault of anyone, everything was just really overwhelming so i decided it would be better to let people eliminate me at the time. fire knew the details of exactly what happened (irl) and that's why he was more willing to show me grace regarding the outburst i had.

even then, that doesn't excuse what happened next. i lurked in thread for a bit and posted uh. lots of things in my own pt. which are honestly. pretty concerning things. that i don't want anyone seeing. and i'm going to black them out now but i'll finish typing this later

the gist of it is that i was fresh out of a panic attack at the time and not quite at emotional baseline. i thought rejoining thread would be a good idea to help ground myself but was about instantly met with jackson's posts and they felt just like very aggressive to me and i just about immediately felt dejected and unmotivated. i'm not saying you meant to be rude or aggressive JV, it was just. idk it really stung. and i think kay responded to me in the same manner that i'd probably respond to another player were i in her position. and i shouldn't have been so rude to you, kay. it was out of line and i just lashed out blindly. so i'm sorry for telling you to shut up.
that's all. i think replacing out was the right move and i'm probably going to take a break from mafia and like, actually this time
if anyone wants to contact me postgame to clear things up or idk yell at me for my shitass townplay go ahead. sorry if i ruined anyone's experiences in this game

I find it really funny that Gimli misread Purple saying "I think my post sounds weird but I hope you can understand it" to mean "I think YOUR [ming's] post sounds weird" and TR'd him based on that:

I think that the read on Kay is weird and that none of Kay's behavior thus far has been strictly alignment-indicative, and the fact that they think Jake could be town for doing nothing at all but thinking that I'm neutral for also doing nothing is strange.

The reads definitely feel a little forced, like she made them only because I told her to. I actually think this is NAI because it's so early into the game; townies would perhaps not hesitate to say that they don't have conclusive reads, but just as likely they would force some reads because it's pro-town behavior.

On the other hand, I buy JacksonVirgo's newbcard argument more. halfasleep has definitely been posting in a way that's different than what would be expected from a newbie and it feels off

What the problem with giving reads early/based on gut reads? Its better then nothing, i don't think she now gonna stay with all of the reads to the entire time or something, and it did help to make the game more active

I like the 'I don't like this but can't really explain why', it doesn't read as a fake thought from scum, but as a townie thought from someone who can't properly explain themselves
