VOTE: JMO

Fate put us together again ;o
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

How is replacing someone suspicious? The original person never picked/confirmed their role PM. I really doubt that's shows any relevance to alignment.

Where is it said he didn't pick his role PM?

As I said, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me.
Clearly the person didn't want to be in the game for unknown reasons. I don't see how Luigi hopping on and voting someone for
that
reason is acceptable. FS has recently replaced out of an ongoing game (only time I'm going to mention it and not going into details) so as I said I don't think it's relevant to alignment.

Well, when Rach, went into the newbie game to get the replacement she never said "He didn't confirm" so that means he never picked it up.

I don't see how Jmo's vote went unnoticed. It was odd to me and I asked. How did you end up missing that?

I still find your random vote on Grey to be off as I said replacing someone in a slot is a null tell.

Grey missioned accomplished. Want to remove your vote now?

Interesting Jmo on the fact you don't get town reads. What bs is this? That leaves a pool wide open for oppurnist voting.

/reminds herself I'm in a newbie game.

I really don't know if coaching is a decent argument in a newbie game as majority of everyone is new, but the IC/SEs. There is going to be a decent amount of 'coaching' which I would guess in the nature of where we are can, but at the same time can't be considered alignment indicative.

@Tybalt:

How is ThaneArvsn being neutral?

UNVOTE: Jmo

Jmo isn't really scummy to me. Therefore I removed it.

Coaching is when someone tries to give tips in-thread to a player. It's some times seen done by an more experienced scum member to an inexperienced. If we were outside of the newbie queue I think the argument could be used, but I don't think it has that much value without flips. Even with flips it might not be strong.

I asked you a question, but no I never answered it.

Thane's first post was #10..
You voted him in #55..
He didn't provide anything.. Anything to be neutral.. You're basically voting a lurker who's not really being considered a lurker.
Now if second post came before your #55 then you might have a chance with that argument, but right now you're grasping at straws.

Sorry Tybalt, but I don't like your latest post. You seem to be tryin to find your footing, but it's really weak and really giving me a bad vibe. I can see new scum going for the lets vote a lurker card to try to avoid attention and look like they are helping.

VOTE: Tybalt

That's an oppurnist vote if I ever seen one.

It's null tell because town can be afaird to pressure. I remember my first ever game. I was scared to pressure.

Meaning.. If he ends up flipping scum and I didn't push hard enough - ill be annoyed at myself.

So it's kinda like I think he could be scum going after an easy target and I don't want to not push and allow him to slide straight by incase he's actually scum.

Wait, you're voting me because I'm caring about your prior slot putting someone at L-2?

I'm not sure what type of response you are expecting from me in regards to this. I could suggest you meta me regarding this, but it's your call. I don't like early L-1/L-2 wagons because there's not much information to go off in-case of a quick lynch. If there's a flip (regardless of alignment) due to interactions with everyone it brings me one step closer to figuring out the scum from town members.

When I go V/LA it's not faked. I was supposed to go over to a friends house and I don't have a laptop anymore which means I have only my Iphone. I can't even receive texts/calls when I'm there and her internet always dc's me so the only time I can read is when we go to town to get food.

Yes, sometimes it's used as a tool, but it likely depends on the person. For me, it's not the case though. :/

I haven't bee on V/LA for a while because that was last week although I'm going over there Wednesday morning til early Thursday, but because it's a day I won't bother putting V/LA.

____

I never said I wanted to 'prevent' a scum flip. I am very paranoid that JMO's vote on Thane is just sitting there. I don't feel that he's hunting anyone else and that his vote is just sitting on Thane. If JMO happens to flip scum and I didn't push *this* case hard enough - I'll be pissed off because I let him slide by halfway unnoticed.

Sorry it's a touchy subject for me because I have recently had two different games where two different scum people accused me of faking V/LA, but I have also had another game where a town accused me of not being able to get to my computer right away after I posted and accused me of dodging. >.>

No my vote isn't on Jmo.

The reason why I make sure I'm aware of vote counts is because I had a game where a mod accidently messed up the VC and I hammered a town member and was town. Ever since then and being a mod myself I'm aware of VCs

Why are you calling yourself an easy target?

JMO stop teaching the newbies that tunneling is a good thing because it's not.

"That sounds like scum" What parts sound like scum?
"VC thing" Do you realize this is a null tell right? You're trying to paint a scum tell that's not really there.

My dilemma is you are making me laugh.. Which is either you trying to deflect or make the situation neutral.. Which can be done by either alignment, but sometimes more by town. I still think you're mafia though..

I still don't like JMO. I'm willing to switch over to him because there's a chance he'll flip mafia over town more.

Don't open it. In fact delete it, please. That could alter the game if you read it and probably force a re-roll.

The conversation between Talah and Jmo is weird right now.

I'm not sure how misspelling of a name has anything to do. I misspell names all the time - we aren't perfect because we are humans.

Hey Grey why are you so convinced that JMO is dying? Isn't in possible the lynch could easily be moved onto someone else?

@Mala: Please also explain what the delay or reason for withholding was or is.

? I'm with-holding.. What exactly?

___

Anyways I liked Talah's humor in the beginning, but now he's just being plain rude. Maybe I'm against rudeness, idk. I just don't like his attitude overall towards Jmo. Note to Talah: Stop being a dick.

____

Honestly, HoneyBee, I want to reread from scratch. I been going away for so long I forgot what happened in the beginning. I'm disconnected (which isn't helpful) Right now I think this day was dragging (as much as I feel sadness for Rach - I don't know if we should have had a dead line extension)

My reads currently are:

Scum:

Jmo
Tybalt

Leaning scum:

Talah (Might be the attitude I dislike - it's currently bugging me)

Null:

Mothrax
Gen
Grey

Town:

Honeybee
Hyper

___

@talah:

Don't self-vote even if it's a joke.

Guys. You keep moving your votes around and if there's a no lynch. I'm not going to be a happy cat - I'll have all four paws out with claws coming into Day 2.

Gen is on V/LA, Tybalt is half on V/LA.

Talah moved his vote which makes it 2, 3 & 2.

We need to come decide to who we are lynching and lynch them.

Remembrance note to look at this after work.

Also Talah. I have played with Hyper in both alignments and I have a special tell in regards of him. He's town because he's glowing with this town tell.

I have to agree that is was better to have a lynch then a no lynch, but it's sad we lynched a pr off. :(

Also HoneyyyyyyyBeeeeeee; I'll avenge you!

@Talah:

May I ask why you singled out Hyperion for that question with the HB kill, but not anyone else?

Okay.

That's fair.

Actually I was annoyed at the day dragging not specifically you and I apologize if I took it out on you. I will say some of your posts didn't make sense at first.

Hmmm.

I thought there was question towards me regarding my stance on Tybalt. I wonder if that was eaten during the crash - I don't see it. At least not on page 21.

By my underinformed judgement the tybalt lynch means we have either Row 1 or Column A of the setup, in which case I guess that a roleblocker and a bulletproof virtually cancel each other out, if Column A is the setup.

On the upside, at least no one who's town has reason to be mysterious about potential doc or cop roles anymore.
Oh this.

I'm not sure how this helps the town. I see it indirectly fishing for possible reactions. We don't need our other PR (That's if we have any left) to be outed.

May I ask what you were planning on doing with this?

@Talah:

I have a question. Why ask filler questions regarding the mafia experience now in Day 2. Why didn't you ask during Day 1? Where it was more suitable to do so.

I don't know if I like how you jumped onto the Grey wagon once he got a vote on him. If you though he was scum why didn't you vote him before Gen?

Last time I played against a person in an open setup. I allowed two things to go pass me. 1) Activity levels 2) Filler questions. That bit me in the back because he turned up mafia. He was asking similar things about the game experience to multiple people and his activity was high. I mean higher than anyone would ever see in a Day 1. You are showing similar signs to this.

The question is I know how you felt about Grey by your first post, but why did you wait so long to vote him?

JMO has an odd meta. I'm very aware because I have played with him as both alignments and honestly there isn't much of a difference between them. Some players have a huge meta difference.

Hyper tends to be quiet as both alignments, but there's a bit of a difference in his style posting when he's scum. He's a bit more helpful as town. This currently is something I see from his opening posts when he replaced in.

I haven't played with Grey in a while. I have played with him twice overall and both times he was town and to be honest. I barely remember the games that much - I'd have to reread them. Going on reread of this game and what I do remember he tends to be passive as town, but he will jump onto something and not let go down the road. The only thing he wasn't as vote jumpy when he was town and this game he's a bit more then I expected him to be. Due to this makes me question the town meta read I have on him. There's also the fact it might be a bit outdated.

So he's currently null.

I think I have to agree with Hyper. HB was super town and usually super town are first to go because they can't be pushed as a mislynch and they lead lynches.

~~

Talah I already gave you my thoughts on Grey. I disagree with your thoughts on Grey because he's kinda playing to his town meta. So if it was a choice between Grey / Gen it would have to be Gen, but that's after I eliminate Grey because he's playing to meta. You could be scum yes. I also noticed after I called you out for large activity your activity decreased.

Also where are the rest of you?

In post 533, talah wrote:If that's the only way we're going to get further info out of you, why don't you post a vote or some reads or something and help end the day early? You were kind of AWOL after voting jmo end of day 1 iirc. And you've just been gone almost 5 days prior to that helpful tidbit.

I don't ever interact in a setup talk. I find it helps scum more. So yes I keep quiet because yes one wrong reaction from a PR can get the killed. If you think I'm scummy for the whole RB/BP thing that's just blech.

Now you're asking Grey about being open towards voting me. How on earth is working with your top scum read helpful?

Anyways, I got a cold and vacation soon coming up. I might replace out. Since my activity levels will be like this and this is my only solo game still going on.

The vote on GIF is just a pressure vote? Or does it have something to do with the slot?

What's your read on me?

@Jmo:

Just because you stated it before doesn't mean you don't have to state it now. We have gif who's new. The polite thing would be to link it for others.
