Well, as we can see, it came almost to the deadline and the deadline was extended. I had some kind of gut feeling that it will go this way, also my previous newbie game wasn't very active too so I got used to have every game day coming to deadline. I thought we had terrible activity in that game, but gosh, how wrong was I... This game is way worse. Hope the replacements will make it going.
And yes, I'd reveal my findings earlier if I'd find the scum. The nature of this game however does not let to be sure in someone's scumminess for 100% at any point during D1, so I tend to gather evidences and build my case for a while, and then pop it out altogether. You can dislike it, but as I said, I won't play differently just because you don't like my playstyle. This is how I scumhunt.

Consider revising how you scumhunt. My favorite games on this site go too quick to wait for 2 week deadlines. A game I recently died in had a day that only lasted six hours and it was fucking awesome.

I really don't think we should be eager to lynch anyone considering the deadline extension. Every extra post from possible lynchees is extra information to interprete their flips tomorrow.

Well also a claim and I wanted an answer from Tool. Plus I want everyone to weigh in on all the replacements, beccause there are nine people in this game and I could probably name 5 of them without looking at the playerlist and that's annoying. Also not eager to lynch, but just waiting for no reason is pointless and only further disinclines those who are bored of this shit from posting.

I believe the doc claim. The two scenarios where there is a doctor also have investigation roles, so that would just be a dumb claim to make as scum.

I'm not really into guessing at teams before we know anyone's roles. It's a field of paranoia that has little sway.

The doc claim saves him. Due to this setup being the way it is there's really a multitude of ways we can catch him in the lie (if he's lying) so I'm cool with leaving a potential town PR alive to do his job.

Right now I'd love weigh-ins from everyone. The only people I'm not ok with lynching today are Tool and TGGC. Everyone else is on one of my various "They could probably die" levels.

GIF should talk. Can't remember him taking any stand on any thing.

Blue should talk, though I'll understand if he can't. I don't like that he's all "This slot claimed 2 different things." and then doesn't say anything else.

Vic is 4 hours away from a proddin' and ain't said shit.

Nether's an interesting case. I just get a sense of unease thinking about him. Probably the whole "I'm not gonna share my thoughts until LATER" thing that just boggles my mind. Still waiting on that.

And Shiro is scummy-ish, but half the things people are using to vote her I don't agree with, and as a result I'm skittish to join that wagon.

I will not repeat what I said in my first post, just add upon it.

scumNetherspite has quite a smooth ride before I replace Carli. He has his own small fight with Shiro, which helps him in multiple ways:
a) Shiro is not in focus of other players so his attack won't raise that much attention to him
b) it seems unlikely Shiros lynch succeed, so he will not get under suspicion for starting it
c) he still can point back to his efforts as scum hunting

So in short, it is a quite safe way to paint him a bit more town.

Now I come in pushing his wagon, because I want to see how serious he is about it and at the same time I doubt his town motivation. I also press him on his questioning results (Johnny does this too). His explanation for not giving results is (#244) basically that we have low activity in this game. As town I would not hold my results back 2 days until deadline especially if I know about the low activity of the other players. Also he suddenly stops going after Shiro after spending a lot of time building this case. In #267 he says Carli did the same things as Shiro, so that is not s reason to prefer my vote over Shiros. So it boils down to this: he votes me because of the things _other_ players noted, which can be a nice excuse later on. I believe he switched votes because after Johnny showing intent to hammer me, he thinks I am now an easy lynch target to get over with D1. He had no interest in a Shiro lynch to begin with. Now this could also mean, that Shiro is his scum partner. But with that many players inactive, thats really just a slight possibility because scum may also hide easily by lurking in this game.

The Shiro switch is weird. To me it would look like a too late attempt to bus if you flip scum at some point, but it could just be him changing his mind. Either way we'll understand better come tomorrow if either you or Shiro dies.
