Serrapaladin found himself in an octagonal, featureless room. The north and south walls each featured a plain, nondescript door.

He noticed that he was not alone. Standing in the center of the room was none other than Leonard Nimoy.

"Ah, so good you could join us, Mr. Paladin," said Nimoy. "As you can see, there are but two doors to this chamber. Behind one is a starving lion. Behind the other is a corporate lawyer. Choose well, Mr. Paladin."

"How can you be so calm?" expostulated Serra, "Whatever I let in will come after you, too!"

"As to that, Mr. Paladin, you will find I am...quite prepared. Spock to Enterprise. One to beam up."

Serra shrieked as Nimoy vanished. "No! You can't leave me here! TAKE ME WITH YOU!"

There was no help for it. If he stayed here, he'd slowly starve. He had do open a door and hope for the best. But should it be the north, or the south? He scanned the room for clues, but found only plain, gray stone walls.

"Well," he said to himself, "No difference between the doors, no way to choose. Here goes!" He strode purposefully to the north door and pulled it open. Standing behind it was a gray-haired main in a pinstripe suit.

"No!" screamed Serra as he ran for the south door, but no matter how much he pulled at it, it would not budge.
