The Inexperience Challenged [IC] player is here to help you learn to play the game. Their play is governed by the wiki article Being a good IC.
The Semi-experienced [SE] players have more experience than newbies and they are also here to help you when IC is not around.

Site-wide rules always apply here and it's there for reason. Do not break these.
If you have a question for me, you can always PM me. If you need to talk to me in thread,
please bold your question like this
so I can locate it better.
You may not use hidden or encrypted text. I decide if the text is small enough to be count as hidden text.
If you have a power to edit/delete your post, don't do it. If you scumslip, just accept it and eat rope.*
Play nice. I really don't mind you guys using bad languages, but don't direct them to the other players. Insult the playstyle, not the player.
Do not EVER discuss the ongoing games in this thread nor discuss this game elsewhere, regardless of amount of content.*
Do not quote the PM that moderator sends you. Paraphrasing is fine till certain level. If you're not sure about it, you're always welcome to ask me first before you post.*
Do not use provable randomization in this game. Saying that you rolled a dice is fine, using dice tag is not.
This is my color. (#408000) Don't use it.
If I find the certain factors/actions damaging the state of the game, I will intervene and/or take action.
Keep the personal complaint, whatever they may be, outside of the wrong VC/information, private by PMing me.
If you break these rules, I have full rights to punish you at my will. This can range from simple warning to modkill/force-replace.
VIOLATING THE RULES WITH A STAR (*) WILL CAUSE AN IMMEDIATE FORCE-REPLACE NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES!
If I feel like it, I always have a full right to add/modify the rules. If I do, I will fully explain the reason behind such action.
Most importantly, have fun!
Voting and Lynching:
You vote by either using bold tag([
b]Vote:GuyInFreezer[/b
]) or using vote tag ([
vote]GuyInFreezer[/vote
]).
Unvote is not required to change your vote. Also, if it looks like a vote for someone, I will count it. No tricking me!
Lynch happens when the majority votes the same person. Once the player is lynched, the lynchee and the living players may talk until I get back and post the flip.
If the deadline is reached before the lynch has reached, the day will end with
No Lynch
.
If you're nightkilled, you may post one information-less "bah" post.
Activity and Deadline:
Deadline for each day is 2 weeks.
If you're on V/LA, please tell me beforehand by either post it in thread (bolded) or PM to me.
If you don't post here for 48 real hours, I will prod you. Failure to receive prod within 24 hours or receiving a 3rd prod will cause force-replacement.
If you do not submit an action before the day ends, it will count as
No Action
.
If I have to extend the deadline, I will. If I do, I will post it on thread.

The setup is determined by randomly selecting one row or one column from the above table, then filling in the remaining 6 roles with Vanilla Townies and Mafia Goons as necessary to create a 7-town, 2-mafia setup.
For example, if Row 1 (Town Jailkeeper, Vanilla Townie, and Mafia Goon) was chosen, 5 Vanilla Townies and 1 Mafia Goon would be added, for a full setup of 1 Town Jailkeeper, 6 Vanilla Townies, and 2 Mafia Goons.
*The Mafia Roleblocker is allowed to
both
submit the nightkill
and
perform his Roleblocker action. In addition, the Roleblocker is stated to resolve before the Jailkeeper. (This only matters in the case where the Roleblocker and Jailkeeper target one another.)
*The Bulletproof Townie's bulletproof cannot be roleblocked, as it is a reflexive action.

I am enomis and I am your Inexperienced Challenged (IC) player for the game. What this means is that I am here to play this game with you in a way that will show you what it is like to play on Mafiascum.net. I am here to win and should be treated as such.
My goals and the rules governing my actions are covered in this handy article: Being a good IC
That article is part of our amazing MafiaWiki System. I *highly* recommend this system as a good way to get your feet wet and to find out what a lot of the common abbreviations mean. There is a lot of play strategy discussed in there too. A lot of players consider that advice almost all outdated now. I don't recommend trying to run verbatim with anything there, but a lot of the basic advice is very good to at least be aware of as it can help you avoid blatant pitfalls as you become familiar with the game play here.
Now, as an IC I am here as a resource for you to ask questions of concerning game theory. I WILL NOT lie about game theory answers and will answer them to the best of my ability. I will also offer you the following quick pieces of advice;
1. Don't self vote. (there are really no points during a Newbie setup where this is a good idea, please avoid it however logical you may think it is)
2. This site frowns on lying if you are a vanilla town role. I strongly advise against lying if you have this role as usually it will only hurt town in the end.
3. It's a game - have fun.
We are now starting what is known as the RVS (random voting stage). We are in a low information period because scum already know who they are, and even have a rough idea of what power roles may or may not be in the game. It is now town's job to root them out. Because the start of the game leaves us with no information to start with generally the way to start is to begin voting and questioning other people to see if you can catch them doing something scummy (scummy actions being acts that a scum player is more likely to do then a town player).
VOTE: MiteyMouse
For not voting.

My Timezone is EST & I work night shift, so if I'm off work a lot of my posts will come early evening on through the night. If I'm working it'll most likely be afternoon or early morning when I'm going to or coming home from work.

Morning all! My favourite ice cream is butterscotch ripple.
I will let you all know as well, I am a mom of a busy 1 year old and I return to work in 2 weeks. My time is limited but, I intend to post daily. I will try to doper but, cannot promise it.
I am one of your SEs in this game. I used to be an IC but, I am very out of practice and don't feel ready to be a teacher yet.
We are technically in the random voting stage but, I don't like to random vote so, I tend not to place a random vote.
The more I see, the less I know
The more I'd like to let it go.

I always choose fire over grass or water. Fire is always the best
I don't really see why timezones matter but mine is UTC +8 if anyone cares
I sense a feeling of
'trying-to-fit-in'
here. Why post that if you don't personally care...

No, I just don't really care about other peoples TZ but on the chance that these people likely care about my TZ if they cared enough about theirs to post it I'll post mine. To me TZ doesn't seem relevant, I post when I post, as does everyone else.

This could be applied to countless instances across the site but this is a fairly weak reason in itself. Would you say that trying to fit in is more often than not a scum based motive? Hardly indicative imo
Pedit: I have never played with anyone in the thread other than MiteyMouse and our mod.
Yea, I wasn't bothered about TZ's either - only that they are active.

"trying to fit in" - I believe more scum-aligned indicative:
conforming
.
But even I'm guilty of that!
I took part in the RVS, something which I personally hate But two factors changed my opinion. 1) 2 week deadline 2) different website, different rules.
