VOTING/ACTIVITY/DEADLINE:
1) Days will be at the longest 2 weeks. Nights will last 48 hours. Extensions may be granted but don't hold your breath.
2) If deadline is reached before a simple majority of votes is counted on a single player, the day will end in a no-lynch.
3) Votes must be
BOLDED
or in VOTE: TAGS to count. You may also
UNVOTE
. (This is not necessary to do before changing votes)
4) Once a player has achieved half the votes in play + 1 rounded down. (Ex: 9 votes in play, 5 votes would be needed to lynch) The lynch will be locked in and players are allowed to post during "twilight", which lasts until I get home from work to lock the thread and post the flip.
5) You may vote for no-lynch.
6) Prods will go out after 48 hours without a post. After that I'll wait give or take 24 hours before seeking a replacement. 3 prods is a force-replace.
1) Before Roles are dealt out one column (A, B or C) or row (1, 2 or 3) is chosen randomly from this table. The rest of the roles will be filled in with Vanilla Townies and Mafia Goons enough to complete a 7 Town vs. 2 Mafia game. All Night Actions will follow NAR with the caveat that Mafia Roleblocker will supersede the Town Jailkeeper when targeting each other.
2) Mafia only have access to external communication with one another during the Night Phase.
3) Mafia Roleblocker may submit the Night Kill and Roleblock on their own each Night Phase.

Now, you may be thinking "no fair, she's got more experience, clearly she will pwn newbs". That's only somewhat true. Some newbies have played many a game of Mafia elsewhere. Besides this, experience counts against me as well: you all are able to look up my past games and see how I've played in them. I can't because most of you don't have any. So it's a fairly even split.

Only Newbie games. People often forget they've asked to play or don't check back in time to pick up their role PMs.
So everyone but platinum has a RV set, & that hasn't done anything yet. HMM. Wow, first days really are slow.
Wondering if platinum_fleece is just busy or gonna be replaced out. Of course, I'm just impatient & eager, so.
So we have RV going on, but I think discounting RQ completely(while understandably a go-to for some) may not be the ideal approach, either, so long as the questions aren't too vague/unrelated & can be ultimately used to help get the job done. That being said, here's a question for anyone curious, & I'll answer as well if people think it's worth the time: How would you describe your own personality/default disposition, & what we should expect from you in terms of your content(scumhunting or otherwise)?

In regards to your question, I guess when it comes to scumhunting, don't expect many walls of text from me. I am more of the type of person that would rather wait and see what other people have to say before I say anything. I mainly think that is due to the fact this is only my second Mafia game and in my first game I was killed off pretty soon so I'm still getting used to playing mafia and the terms people use and such.
In regards to my personality I'm not that confident, so I usually don't feel very comfortable pointing out things all the time and I'm not always sure on myself due to this. But I'm trying to learn so please bare with me!
But I would like to hear what other people answer this question with!
Welll it has been 3 years or more since I played my last mafia game (In other sites) I don't know how much my playstyle have changed, but I played lots lots of live mafia (The one that takes only 30 minutes) In live mafia I was very active. I didn't play a lot of non-live mafia games, so I'm not used to the boring beginning of day 1.
EBWODP: I think I will be a good scumhunter after RVS provided I have no real life stuff coming in the way.

Now I am not sure about my play style, has been a couple of years since my last mafia game and honestly i can barely remember stuff, so my best guess is I will do what i think will help me catch scum or clarify my reads.

No but seriously, uh, let's see... I have been told many times that I "think too much" and I guess that may be true. I also suppose I'm a wall of text person, but I'll try to keep it brief, especially when things get going, to avoid muddying up the topic. The main reason is I'm simply bad at communicating my thoughts, so I'll go over the top explaining and hope my basic idea gets across at some point.
All that being said, I don't have an established play style as I'm just starting out, but um. I can be pretty blunt, and won't hesitate to say something unless there is a reason not to. If I get reads, for instance, I'll say so, unless I feel like not saying so just yet will result in more info -- but I'm generally pretty up front about things.
I also think I'm pretty friendly & chill, even if people are freaking out at me. I'm likely the last person you'll see being over the top rude or sarcastic, even if I'm straight up pushing for a bandwagon. All that being said, like any other person, I'll have my off days, especially since I don't deal with certain types of stress well(games like this don't count, for me; I mean like RL problems, etc.).

played before but only once, as a kid irl, and I had no idea what was going on. So I'm basically a total newbie. I've read up on it, but honestly, it seems like particularly the online version is something that you can get better at but not without experience, & in ways not even consciously.
I started up Mafia coz someone recently recommended I check it out, and they explicitly said that they thought I'd "be good at it". ...not sure whether that's a good or bad thing to say to someone, haha, but yeah - here I am.
I checked back here a couple days expecting to be one of the first few people to post but it looks like I'm apparently the last one to post. Ah well.

I consider myself a pretty relaxed person. Not one to get angry or ranty ranty, so you can expect me to be pretty nice (I try to, at least) and just be chill in general, (While trying to win of course).
I'm not super confident on my scumhunting, mainly because most of my Mafia games have been with close friends and/or quick games, but I'd like a more detailed style forum game like this. I'll probably focus on what's being said and ask questions to clarify intent and whatnot. Speaking of which...

default disposition is neutral actually, i dont get emotional
and you should expect these kind of filler shit during early day 1, then after that accusations backed up by fingerprints, evidence, witnesses and testimonies.
