My usual title choosing skills weren't up to the task, so this game gets named because of events that happened near me in the meat world recently. This somehow also means that I won't generate any

good

mafia flavour that fits the theme.

RULES

Discussion about this game is only allowed to happen within this thread unless especially told otherwise via your role pm.
No ongoing games may be mentioned in this thread
Avoid formatting in your posts in ways with affect readability of the game.
Once revealed as dead, you are not allowed to post in thread, this includes any “Bah!” posts, until endgame where I have declared the winner.
Prods will be issued to those not posting in the thread for 48 hours, without declaring
V/LA either bolded in thread, via pm to the mod or using V/LA tags.
Prods issued in the same day phase as another prod count double.
Replacements will occur if you don't post within 24 hours of me sending a prod, or you're receiving a 5th prod.
A player with active V/LA will be prodded at 72 hours, with 48 hours to post. If you are not going to have internet access during a V/LA of longer that 5 days, please ask for a temporary (or permanent) replacement.
Replacement searches caused by prods can be cancelled by posting before I find a replacement.
You may either use

Vote: bold
to vote during the day.
1. Unvotes are appreciated however they are not required.
2. Abbreviations of usernames will count as long as I can identify who it is you're trying to vote.
3. To lynch someone you will require more than 50.1% of the votes available.
4. If there is no one above that level of votes at deadline, the day will end in a no lynch
Day deadlines will be set at 2 weeks, night deadlines will be set at 48 hours

That's right,

I will not lie to you

about theory.

Now, you may be thinking "no fair, she's got more experience, clearly she will pwn newbs". That's only somewhat true. Some newbies have played many a game of Mafia elsewhere. Besides this, experience counts against me as well: you all are able to look up my past games and see how I've played in them. I can't because most of you don't have any. So it's a fairly even split.

While I'm not sure it is a hidden agenda, I tend to capitalize names even if they are not captialized. It annoys me somewhat that my own name on this site is not capitalized. If I had know at signup that capitalization would stay with my username, I would have capitalized it.

So in short, I'll answer to either Vettrock or vettrock, and the only reason my name on the site is vettrock rather than Vettrock is that I don't think I can change it.

In board preferences in the UPC you can change the board style to MafSefia or MafSilver, it will change the background as well, but the shadows only exist on MafBlack

Well I could introduce myself and give some background on what level of mafia I've played before. I'd say I'm somewhat of an intermediate player. I have an acc. on EpicMafia and I also enjoy watching mafia live games on twitch. This is however my first foray into the forum version of the game. This looks like it's going to be fun!

Both. Obviously, I'm not trying to lynch you straight out of RVS, but I didn't expect anyone else to even consider voting the IC, especially since you started out so friendly and helpful. Which is what you're supposed to do as IC, of course, but the point remains that your potential for scum cannot be ignored.
