(My general, modified) Rules: Read them. Enjoy them. Date them. BE THEM.

General:

1) Have a jolly good time.
2) The mod is always right. Deal with it.
3) If you have a problem with something regarding the game, please PM me, try to keep it out of the thread.
4) Vote in the format Vote: BBM. Unvoting is cool, but if you forget, don't worry about it.
5) Do not quote role PMs or any other form of communication with me. Failure to comply will result in a modkill.
6) Keep the game in the game. Don't discuss the game outside of the game unless your role says you can. I will find out. I have people. Those people have people.
7) When you are dead, get out of my thread. I rhymed! You are permitted to post any two letters from the following group as a bah post: B,A,H. Only two. A general "bah" post is allowed.

Deadlines and Activity:

8) Each game day will have non-negotiable three week deadlines. However, once in the game, a one week extension will be given upon at least a 50% vote to do so. (Ex: 12 alive, 6 vote for extension; extension is given.)
9) If no majority is reached at the deadline, no-lynch will be achieved and lynched like the scumbag he/she/it is!
10) I am expecting all of you to be active. If a player goes without a post for 72 hours, they will recieve a prod, and if there is no reply to the prod (or no posting in thread) within two days, you will be considered for replacement.
11) Do not abuse rule 10. While I don't have a limit to prods, there is a point where enough is enough. Don't get to this point.
12) If you plan on being away from modern civilization for more than 48 hours, let me know via PM.

Additions:
-If discussion lags, I will place a deadline. If discussion picks back up, I might lift said deadline.
-72 hours for night as a guideline. I would expect them in during this time, but I will be lenient on this one.

Setup: For today's setup, we will be using the F11 setup. The game setup will be randomly chosen from:

• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Sane Cop, 1 Sane Doc, 5 Townies
  
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 7 Townies
  
• 2 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Cop, 6 Townies
  
• 2 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Doctor, 6 Townies

If either of the first two setups are in play, and the situation occurs where the Goon is lynched first, the Roleblocker will still be able to submit both night kills and roleblocks (roleblocking is a function of the Roleblocker; night kills are a function of the scum team as a whole).

Sample Role PMs

Mafia:

You are a Mafia Roleblocker, along with your partner _________ (who is simply a Goon). Your goal is to eliminate the pro-town players so that only your side remains; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched.

You may talk with your partner at Night, and send me a choice via PM of who you would like to kill/roleblock (your team can do both so long as you live).

Note: You may talk with your partner privately during confirmations to plan strategy, but no night actions will take place until Night One.

You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner _________ (who is a pro-Mafia Roleblocker). Your goal is to eliminate the pro-town players so that only your side remains; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched.

You may talk with your partner at Night, and send me a choice via PM of who you would like to kill (if your partner also lives, they can send in a separate choice to roleblock someone).

Note: You may talk with your partner privately during confirmations to plan strategy, but no night actions will take place until Night One.

You are Mafia, along with your partner _________. Your goal is to eliminate the pro-town players so that only you remain; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched (if that someone is not your partner or yourself, that will make things much easier). You may talk with your partner when it is not Day, and send me a choice via PM of who you wish to kill.

Note: You may talk with your partner privately during confirmations to plan strategy, but no kills will happen until Night One.

Town:

You are the Doctor, and you can protect people from harm. Each Night, you may send me a choice via PM of who to protect; if they come under attack by the Mafia, they will live. You win if the scum are eliminated, so choose wisely at Night, and try to lynch correctly during the Day.

Note: Doctors are 100% effective in Newbie Games (the person you protect will never die on the night they are protected, unless you are roleblocked). You may not protect yourself.

You are the Cop, and you can tell good from bad. Each Night, you may send a player's name to me; I will let you know if your investigation shows that they are Mafia or Town. You win if the scum are eliminated, so choose wisely at Night, and lynch well during the Day.

Note: Cops always get a correct result in Newbie Games (no sanity issues), unless you are roleblocked. You cannot investigate yourself.

You are a Townie, and you've got no special powers at Night. No investigations, no protection, no gun to shoot people. Your only powers are the ability to post, vote, and think. Help lynch Mafia during the Day, and you will win the game, along with the rest of the Town.
