They’ve been treating gob like fodder. Up to the point where I repped in and wasn’t there to push it, they were relentlessly pushing gob to the extent that I would assume more than 75% of the posts since the inherent shift to gob was exactly that, pushing gob. A lot of it was trying to find and gather people to vote gob more so than I would deem truly analysing him. In fact, the one post I recall them maybe trying to genuinely analyse with an honest question was left in the dust when gob answered decently. Which I see as it failing to do what Black wanted, which was more reasons to push them.

It reeks of agenda. And that is taking pre flip associations with ganski out of the topic cuz it isn’t the place but it’s in my head too

This is the vote that killed Python's chance to build Black counterwagon. They were hoping it ended with my vote and people would switch to Black. They were also counting on your townread on them.

This is a sudden flip that could indicate scum's commitment to bussing Python or reveals STD as town.

So, STD, if you can walk us through what made you say that you could be wrong, we'll get a lot from it I think.

If you're asking why I would vote a townread, lots of people are super confident in their reads even when they have no right to be. In order to better my play, I am trying to be humble at times. If python were to flip scum, that's a win, and if not, then maybe people will listen to me more and I can build up confidence in my reads this game.

Along with a looming deadline, a tbone wagon no one had interest in, and me balking on my tbone read because tbone pointed out I did nothing to push him when I thought I had also contributed i think.

reading into the subtext of putting python as the number 1 slot and keeping them there all day, i think it is possible ranger was setting them up to claim they were a mason from the jump. i think as a distancing tactic it is possible to put your buddy in the top spot because scum would probably put their buddies hiding somewhere in the middle. is this likely? maybe. possible? yes. What actually happened? I don't really know.

What i do know is that ranger came into the thread yesterday and tried to save python. I think it was a risky mission, but if she put so much work into the above, it would have been worth it to try.

When she came into the thread today, she made this bold claim that she knew python was a mason. Her evidence? Flights of fancy reading into things that simply weren't there. We know this is true because python was not a mason, so the things she was reading into don't exist. When questioned about it, she has doubled down that they do exist and that (i'm assuming here) "maybe she didn't catch masons being cheeky, but scum"

Furthermore, we know due to repeated talks of mason hunting that she is not one of the masons. So at worst, at worst we are losing a townie, and at best, we are losing one of python's partners. i think it is the latter. I'm just not buying it.

I did a quick skim of jvs ISO and while I'm not a fan of their ganski read because it looks like they just decided it based on ganskis readlist the energy of their posts looks townie. As far as Ranger goes, I find it incredulous that they actually believe 1467. It is a wild post. Is it possible that I'm just not seeing it and they actually believe everything they spout in that post? yeah. But I can't sit here in good faith and be like "this isn't fishy" to me, no matter how many times people are like "oh that's just Ranger"

As far as T-Bone goes, this is more of a vibe read based on his body of work this game. T-Bone seems to be in the background, manipulating things with a stead hand instead of going out there and making pushes, he looks like he's trying to avoid attention and he's just popping in whenever it's convenient to do so to say something pithy rather than push for a read he believes in or move the gamestate forward.

One notable thing is he voted for me after being cross with me, supposedly, but I don't find it believable that he really scumread me just for calling him out as being wrong on Day 1. I believe it was an effort to invalidate my push on JV to make me look unreasonable (and if JV would flip scum, JV also went for a tactic where he would say that "he's seeing words but not getting any meaning from them").

Near as I can tell, not one vote of mine has saved scum. usesPython was eliminated D1 with no vote change of mine involved at all, and my vote nearly placed JacksonVirgo to L-1. By the time I swapped to Enchant again, he was already having momentum shifted onto him over JacksonVirgo. If JV is scum, mine was not the vote which saved them; if JV isn't scum, then my vote couldn't have saved scum regardless as no scum was wagoned.

On Day 1 I thought I did a decent job. Not the best I could have done, I put Python in a bucket of being annoying but probably town, which was a huge miss for me. I didn't argue with enough players. Which I know, that seems like a good thing, but that's how I get a better feel for people's alignment. I also don't mean argue like a negative thing, more like, what we are doing now.

On Day 2 I certainly felt like I coasted, looking back I don't know what I accomplished for myself or the game. Unlike Day 1, I can't remember a single conversation I had on Day 2 that informed my perspective of the game. So huge miss by me. I think after missing on Python I was too willing to just accept Dann's reads rather than continue to form my own. I had light_ganski as strong town on Day 1, and nothing Enchant said or did should have changed that. If we're all being honest, this should be the most damning aspect of my play.

This is actually giving me some pause, your "i had light as town and enchant didn't change that for me" seems like it is the most genuine thing you've said.

Today I think I've vastly improved over the first two days. It hasn't been perfect, my argument with JV to start the day went on for too many pages. A smaller argument would have had value, but it got too large and I know that will cause people to scroll rather than read. If scum!JV helped me do that on purpose, great job, smart move picking at my weakness. I think I did a much better job today than I had on the previous two days of challenging players to explain themselves more. I felt like I let STD slide too long and I was finally able to get him to explain himself more on his read of me. Even though the argument went on too long, I think I've coaxed enough content out of JV that if they flip scum, we have better associations to work with then we did at the start of the day where JV was trying to get the day to end quick with their elimination. If JV is scum, that tells me the remaining partner is a little deeper. If JV flips town, then we have more honest takes from them to look back at. I think given the game state this is a big for us and one I think I get credit for. I think I coaxed a little bit more out of Naerys then she was willing to give. I'm still a huge question mark on Black, I'm still unsure what she has contributed, but I did try. I think where I'm lacking is not challenging you earlier in the day to leave us with more substance. Regardless of whether we are right or wrong in flipping JV you still have a confirmed town perspective that is worth listening to. We should have taken more advantage of that today, I knew it, and I let it slide. I think in a world where I was scum, this is also pretty damning of me and I need to be better as town. I also got too caught up in JV, Black, and Naerys, and if none of them are scum I have given space to scum in STD, Drew, Dave, and Ranger.

I think this paragraph says very little in a lot of words, tbh.

thinking about it, solving Ranger provides a lot of insight into the game while solving Tbone doesn't really do much unless he is scum. im having a little doubt from yesterday, but i think if things swung that would i would join.

Actually both TBone and Ranger have the same trajectory; they were on both mislims and off of Python. I thought this was only ranger but Tbone has the same.

On d2, Ranger tried to go after Naerys. When that didn't work, she switched onto Enchant, which did have more support. Tbone didn't really do much of anything votewise. I could see either of these methods being agenda'd, if Ranger is using her vote to try and push and ultimately force a mislim, that might be a little more sus than Tbone hanging back and not doing much of anything (which would require a partner that's more invovled probably).

On d3, TBone at least attempted pushes on other people (Black, Naerys). Ranger planted on JV and stuck with that the entire day. This one seems clearer to me. Ranger probably knows JV is going to flip town and is encouraging following the mason on the incorrect theory. At a point, Ranger does unvote JV to give room to breath but I don't really see this as AI, especially since she does return it back to JV when, to paraphrase, "JV is given hope." Tbone, on the other hand, could be bouncing around other targets to look good when JV flips, sure, but also spends a lot of day 3 actively trying. I don't feel that from Ranger, who just kind of plops her vote down.

From the perspective of those who weren’t previously voting Python, Python had more reasons to look town than T-Bone.

If both were scum, then why not sacrifice T-Bone to save the power wolf? There was enough momentum there. He got to five, I'd have compromised there to save Python so that’s six.

If they had the ability to get T-Bone and didn’t, they must have made the strategic decision letting Python go through was more valuable than T-Bone.
