Om of the Nom: I've voted four times in two pages. Two of those votes were in the same post. Three of those votes were silly. One was serious, and I'm pretty sure your main objection to it is the fact that it's on you. Four serious votes in two pages would be scummy, but three RVS votes are perfectly legit.

I'm sorry, taking flippiant posts seriously is generally a scumtell, and when just out of RVS, 'generally scumtells' become '100% scumtells' until someone does something to put the 'generally scumtell' in its proper place.

I think the word 'buddying' is misused a lot, but maybe I'm the one misusing it. Anyway, I've always considered 'buddying' to be 'making someone look like your buddy'. 'Acting friendly towards someone' is not 'buddying', under this definition. I actually don't see how acting friendly towards people helps scum, the majority of the town is always going to be looking at the game from a fairly logical perspective. Long time IRL friends in the same game still attack each other.

They honestly don't look like scumbuddies to me, they're incredibly open about attacking each other, and genuinely do seem to want the other one lynched. In a seven player game with three PRs, getting your buddy lynched is incedibly risky, it can lead to autowin situations where all three PRs confirm themselves the next day.

Of course, scum could give town non-confirmable roles in order to facilitate the more aggressive game.

Okay, I agree with most of what Psyche said, but I do take issue with some of it.

One, as much as I'd love to be right about Om of the Nom, he looks far less scummy than Chrimi. Chrimi's posts are fluffy and irrelevant. Om's posts, while somewhat scummy, are relevant to the game at hand.

The most serious vote Chrimi has made all game was an OMGUS vote. Om's votes, while I strongly disagree with them, have had reasoning behind them.

I find Staeg relatively townie, but he's more null than anything. I'll ISO him when I get home (I'm currently at TAFE atm), but for the time being, I wouldn't consider him for a lynch.

If we mislynch today, I doubt scum are going to put themself up for lynch tomorrow (though it's not impossible). My reason for saying this is that day two LyLo is way too good an oppurtunity to pass off. I don't like the idea that our resident lurker, Prolapsed, could make it to LyLo. That idea scares me. A lot. Kamikrazy is making me nervous too, but at least he voted.

My vote stays where it is for now.

Five pages is enough time for scum to send in a list, even if it is a list based on outdated information; I doubt this list is entirely random.

In fact, I doubt it's random at all, unless the scumteam is Prolapsed/Kamikrazy, there's no way scum would've put Chrimi up for today's lynch, he was pretty obviously gonna eat the lynch D1.

All three of us have been nominated for a reason. However, like NK analysis, it's probably not great to look too far into it. Scum gain a lot from WIFOMing on the nomination's system.

I'm holding my vote in the meantime, I want to iso Psyche. I wouldn't want to rule out the possibility that the three of us are town; as I said earlier, taking the game to LyLo tomorrow would be hugely advantageous for them. Having said that, there's no real reason not to nominate one or both of them for the nominations.

I still think Staeg is town. Very much town, probably the towniest person in this game.

I think there's a high chance that Prolapsed is scum, but I've never played with him before; his vote reminds me of some nasty quickhammers I've seen from townies in newbie games.
