FakeGod's Mafia Ruleset

ONE: FUNDAMENTALS

I) All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
II) There is no personal communication outside forum posts regarding this game unless your role specifically allows it.
III) Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, backup-moderator, or fellow players. Paraphrasing is acceptable, direct quotations are not.
IV) Be courteous and respectful to all your fellow players.
V) Play to your Win Condition.

TWO: DAY PHASE

I) Each Day Phase shall have a 14 days deadline.
II) Votes must be

bolded

or in vote tags

and on a separate line

to count. Player names may be abbreviated as long as it is clear to me who you are voting.
III) Unvoting is not required to switch your vote between players.
IV) Once you have reached a simple majority (half of all living players plus one) that person's fate is sealed and they shall be lynched. Unvoting cannot change their fate.
V) If half the living players approve a No Lynch (

), then no player shall be lynched and the game shall enter Night Phase. If deadline is reached and no one has received a simple majority of the votes, no one shall be lynched.
VI) Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I arrive and post a death scene. All players may continue to post during Twilight.
VII) A deadline extension may or may not be granted; just ask.
VIII) Votes and unvotes shall not count after a lynch has been attained for a day phase.
IX) Players that have not posted for 48 hours (two real days) will be prodded. Players may request prods on all players eligible.
X) Players that have been prodded for the third time will have 24 hours to post or face replacement. Any further prods will result in immediate replacement.

THREE: NIGHT PHASE

I) Night Phase shall last two days.
II) Anyone with access to a Private Topic will be allowed to talk in it.
III) All night actions should be submitted via PM to me.
IV) If no action is received, no action will be taken. All actions received after the deadline has passed will not be valid.

FOUR: CAPITAL OFFENSES

I) Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, or backup-moderator. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
II) There is to be no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
III)

The following is a list of outlawed shenanigans:

• Using invisible text, codes, cryptography, etc.
  
• Editing your posts (if you have the power to do so)
  
• Insulting other players
  
• Quoting any PTs you may have access to

IV) Do not attempt impersonate me in this game, ever. My color is pink (#FF4080).
If any of these offenses are committed, I have the right to force-replace you from the game or modkill you. A warning will usually come before replacement or modkilling, depending on the severity of the infraction.

FIVE: MISCELLANEOUS

I) Feel free to address me in-thread (preferably using

font with an @mod/@Saki attached), but if there is a game-breaking/role related mistake please PM me. Small matters like errors in the votecount can be posted in-thread.
II) I have the final say on any issue. I reserve the right to force-replace and modkill.

Setup Information:

This game follows the Stack the Deck setup. It is required that you read the setup rules in the previous link prior to playing the game.


Alignments will be distributed first, then the mafia will have a 72 hour period decide on role modifications. Then, roles will be distributed accordingly and the game will start once 11 out of 12 people have confirmed their role and alignment.

I don't like RQS. I really don't. It gives more information to the scum if anything, and it's incredibly easy for scum to just lie about what they'd do. I understand that's a playstyle choice but I have a rule to not participate in it. That said, #4 is useful, so

Hey all. As to the RQS, I might get to them tonight, but right now I'm grilling trout, so I'll be busy for a while. But I want to echo the others who want to know what, beside some esoteric read that is so ambiguous it'd fit half the player list, you do expect to get? If you're going to ask questions, they should be pointed questions that reveal something about the character of the slot. General questions never reveal scum.

I haven't read over the game setup, I'll do that later tonight, too.

The only other person I've played with is Mathdino, and that was a long time ago.

My grill is hot now, and I'm ready for some good eats.
