Generally speaking on Day 1 I try to find one scum and stick with that person until someone else is scummy. I don't really think about who else could be scum until we have caught one. Right now I feel very strongly that Arc is scum and will make sure he is the one who is lynched.

I don't think that there is necessarily any scum motivation in you riding Arc. I think that there is scum motivation in deciding to play to a meta rather than playing naturally. I think that it's worse now than I did before, since you tried to defend yourself against the accusation initially by questioning whether I checked your role on the open game, but now your arguing that you do it as town or as scum.

I was making a generalized statement about my gameplay, you went looking(and asked) for specific meta examples of said gameplay. You made the effort to bring specific game meta into it, and I was happy to prove you wrong.

And and we are going to be sticklers for venacular, I did say 'generally speaking' which implies that it won't be exactly the same every single time but there will be similarities from game to game. So why did you go find a game that at a quick glance doesn't match what I have done so far this game? And since you did tell me to go find other games of mine though do match how I have played this game, why have you ignored those?

I haven't ignored them. I looked at them, but I'd have been very surprised if examples didn't exist. I didn't specifically go looking for one that was different, I went down your list of threads and looked at the first completed non-newbie, non-micro game there. I'm also not trying to paint you into a corner at all. I have seen scum decide to play to a meta over playing naturally, so I went to see if it was accurate. It seems like it's not always accurate so I asked you about it. You defended yourself by suggesting that I was looking at scum game of yours. It wasn't a scum game. Then you said that you do it was town or as scum. Then you said that I was the one to bring meta into it at all. Then I point out you bringing meta into it, and now you say that it was a generalized statement about your play, which is meta, as opposed to game specific meta.

The only thing that I actually find potentially scummy is your use of self-meta. Most of this, I just think is you trying to defend yourself in a rather confusing way, so I'm asking about it.

See in Post 73 that you quoted, I wasn't trying to defend myself or use self meta. People were asking why I wasn't answering Arc's questioning(what I did, and still, think was deflection), so I was explaining why.

If anything, it helps to explain my thought process into why I do think Arc is scum and why I continue to be on him.

I was waiting to see if you'd change your vote. Because I didn't like the vote against GIF. It looked as if you were trying to appear to do something. And the way you're responding to Fuduzn is even worse. The argument was about that he didn't play like his general self as he stated it in a different game. And now you're mentioning you only find him scummy for his use of self-meta?

I think your wrong. Playing according to a meta rather than playing naturally is scummy because it provides a means to justify actions that may not actually make sense in the context of the game. In this case, it was completely unnecessary for Fuduzn to justify keeping his vote on Arc, but he decided to explain doing it by appealing to his meta. It also provides a means for scum to try to relate their play in one game to their play in a town game by appealing to their play-style in the other game. Here we have Fuduzn first trying to discredit my point that he doesn't alway like this by suggesting that he was scum in the game I looked at. Now, later he said that he plays this way as town or as scum, so I'm not sure on this point applying here, but it looks like BS.

No. He's said that he does it as town or as scum, so presumably there are examples of him doing it as scum, and since there are examples him not doing it as town, there are probably examples of him not doing it as scum too, especially since he suggested that he was scum in the game where I found him not doing it.
