When I saw the investigation claim, I thought 4 actions would be completely imbalanced so I basically disregarded it. I figured it'd either be naive or something since there were so many innocents. Therefore not useful information.
Also, based on my limited knowledge of game mechanics, all characters should be able to perform any actions based on RNG/cards drawn. This is part of the reason I was so indifferent about anybody claiming night actions. So now the real question is why did Marquis decide that Dolittle needed to die? Just cause he got inno on a bunch of other players? I really want to understand the reasoning behind this.
MARQUIS: Explain better why Dolittle was scum for getting innocents on players.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Rufflig, I find both of your hypothesis to be pretty logical and more than likely true. I do find it amusing that your #2 basically backs up my assumption of the results of the investigation though.
Just for clarification though, when you speak of a renegade, is that scum or is that a third party? Because Amrun's flip says mafia outlaw, nothing about a renegade. Also, since I would expect scum to get cards as well as a "kill" night action it would be possible to have more than one action and could be truthful about something.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

I'm more than willing to bet that Renegade has a strong-arm factor in there, allows so much damage to go through regardless of protection. That's really the only way that that role could work in a setup like this and not have them be completely screwed.
Don't forget that I'm sure they tried to balance it with town shooting other town speeding up the process (I wouldn't assume so but there is that possibility). With multiple night killing factions that might look balanced on the outside? I don't know.
@pitoli: When I thought about it (had I gotten shot), my first instinct would have been to not claim. Not sure why, but it didn't seem like the type of information that could be useful.
Do we have everyone's claimed night actions yet? That might start to get us a way to figure out who shot Rufflig.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Ugh I hate WIFOM. But in a setup like this, I don't think that scum night inactivity will help at all. We've whittled down one of the killing factions and lynched a mafiate, no action would make zero sense. Especially if it wasn't known that I would be tracked/watched where I went had I performed an action.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Just fyi I was pretty sure renegade referred to a serial killer and not a second team. So don't try to revisionist history me.In post 1532, killerjester wrote:We could just lynch Amished or pitoli's guilty to see what the suit-mechanic indicates.
I didn't like Amished's hammer considering that we're in multiball. The fact that he dodged my gambit helps his case slightly but I still think today's lynch is between him and whoever pitoli drew a guilty onI'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Killer, you're retarded. You might want to ask Majiffy if he actually took damage last night since you watched him with me. You know, that's what I was trying to hint at with my first post?
I did take damage last night though.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

I'm not ready to make that assumption yet. I know I took damage and I know that kj visited majiffy. If nobody claims dealing damage then to me kj is cleared without investigation results.
Because kj voted me today I can only assume that he saw me visit maj too so I can be reasonably certain he's okay until we get the damage figured out.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Your investigation doesn't mean shit. How do you think I knew you visited Majiffy last night? I've been nothing but pro-town all game. I wouldn't have healed Rufflig for any damage if I were scum. I wouldn't have done no action the night before. None of this points to me being scum. Look at those facts.
I do want people to claim their night actions though, there's still a damage on me that isn't accounted for.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

I'm not saying to post a reason, think about the series of actions and really think about if your results would be correct or if my actions speak louder than that.
Again, I see no reason to not claim night actions otherwise, so we can try to verify more night actions. There is damage that hasn't been accounted for and I feel like that can be a huge key to our success.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Sigh, this is such a problem. If I believe that KJ is just dumb town, I know that he was telling the truth about what the mod told him about me (which is a false guilty). Therefore night results can be skewed and I might not be able to see what actually did damage to Majiffy making killer actually just watching Maj like I did last night and get same results but reversed (since night results can be inaccurate; killer-town fingering me today is consistent with this process as well).
If KJ is scum, then it's a long con and got lucky that I went to watch Maj last night too to be able to keep the pressure on (though possibly could've read that from my first post today).
This is why I would like more night actions so I can try to piece together if something else is happening to night actions (leaving the possibility of KJ-dumbtown), or if they're all true then I know KJ is lying scum. 5 alive, if ML today, and potential NK tonight would leave 3. I can't imagine more than one more scum (two teams of 2 and an SK? Hard to say, there's a fair bit of town power with the cards). Getting all the information out there today would help if we screw up. Also, with the setup I would imagine the SK would have to have some sort of really good balancing features (where unwatchable wouldn't be out of the question making kj-town likely again).
Will review tomorrow when I'm not so tired, I think better if I have my thoughts on paper in front of me.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

I drew a dynamite card, it was random targeting (I could choose to damage somebody, but there was a 1/5 chance for it to actually connect the person I wanted). Obviously I didn't use it but it'd still tell you if you did damage (does not always reveal the target). Not sure how much more in depth I can go with that, but I don't believe it to be a dynamite card effect. It seems like it'd be a bang card. There is a 1/5 chance for dynamite to do 1 damage to the target, but it would've told you if you did.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

GO TEAM! Glad I wasn't lynchbait this last day. After thinking about it more, I was thinking it's more likely that kj was just lucky than dumb town and all this other this happened to happen. Rufflig, you helped a TON being so pro-town that I didn't worry about you at all, pitoli, you were town enough to also not worry about. Majiffy, I still don't know how you happened to stay alive as long as you did. Conf. town seems ridiculous that you were left alive.
Just from what I know of the setup right now, it's hard to believe that town ever had a chance of losing. 5/13 is pretty high for scum but all the random distribution power roles seems like it would negate that in a hurry and it kinda did.I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.
