Some Rules from Somewhere
Rules of Conduct
01.Use common sense. This means no excessive flaming or anything prohibited on these forums.
02. You may not communicate outside of this thread unless you are explicitly told so by the mod.
03. Do not use invisible text, extremely small text, color=black, or any other methods of concealing text.
04.Players who have not posted in 3 days will be automatically prodded. A person will be replaced if a prod is not picked up in 48 hours.
05.Please bold all votes such as Vote: ShadowLurker. Even if I see an unbolded vote, I will NOT count it. Unvotes are not required.
06.Discussion may occur in twilight. Twilight ends when I post the lynch scene.
07.Once you are dead, you are dead. A "bah" post is acceptable but please make sure you do not reveal ANY information that may be relevant to the game.
08.If you do not wish to use a night choice, please submit "none." Nights will usually last 72 hours unless a request for an extension is PMed, and if I do not receive a night choice, I will assume no action.
09.All questions about your role, or questions/comments related to my decisions should be directed to PM and not in-thread. If I think the answer should be made public knowledge, I will post the question and answer.
10.At deadline, there will be no lynch unless a majority has been reached. On Days 1 and 2, deadlines will be an automatic three weeks. After that, the deadline will be an automatic two weeks. However, if enough people request a deadline extension I will consider it.
11.Lastly, keep in mind that this is a game and you play it to have FUN! Please do not intentionally try to ruin the game for others as it discourages them from playing.
12.I do whatever I want if necessary
Technical Rules
01.Each day, the Town has an option of lynching a person. This requires a majority of votes on that person to occur. The town may decide to lynch nobody. A day will be as long as required for a deadline to hit or consensus to be reached.
02.Voting occurs by a simple Vote: Player and to unvote, just write Unvote. When shifting a vote from one player to another, an unvote will be required for this game. Unbolded votes will not be counted. To vote for a no lynch, just type Vote: No Lynch. No Lynch requires a majority of voters in order to be executed.
03.On Days 1 and 2, deadlines will be an automatic three weeks. After that, the deadline will be an automatic two weeks. However, if enough people request a deadline extension I will consider it.
04.Nights will always be a minimum of 3 days unless all choices are in. If I have not received a choice by the time night ends, I will assume you are choosing not to use your action. Prods may or may not be sent out during night.
05.Please check the game every 72 hours. If you will be away for a period of time longer than 72 hours, please let me know. Prods may be requested on anyone who has not posted within 24 hours and people who have not posted within 5 days will be autoprodded. I will try to make a vote count every page and vote counts may be requested.
06.I do not check the V/LA thread. Please PM me if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, or you will be in danger of being replaced.
07.Remember to HAVE FUN! This is your game as well as mine, let's make it fun.

thing is, NAR doesn't really cover situations like this. this is one of those toss-up "paradox" things. as a mod, i wouldn't treat vanillaizer like a roleblocker and make the action fail so that's how i resolved it. but i'm not kiwieagle and i don't know what his intent was.
this is why it's so important for game designers to get this straight WHEN THEY'RE DESIGNING THE GAME and BE UP FRONT WITH THE PLAYERS ON HOW THEIR ACTIONS RESOLVE.The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.-
