Points of suspicion are:

- Inconsistency
- Anti-Town sentiments ( Massclaiming early )
- LAMIST

Perhaps they were busy talking in their scum chat, instead? :)

Also Racical's vote here is ew as he has to overexplain it but wasn't actually there in the pre-game chat
Would you have preferred a naked vote?

As for why I wasn't there, may I direct your attention to my V/LA banner? Or perhaps the post I did make in the Radiant chat?

Before we get too far along, I'd like to politely request that the Survivor come forward. You don't have to if you're scared, but I see no reason why either side should kill a Survivor.

And scum: don't even think about faking. I will find out, and you will be lynched.

Thats a horrible suggestion -- Doing so is against their win con since survivor cant win with town or mafia
I thought all Survivor had to do was be alive at the end of the game, regardless of which faction wins?

You were suggesting a massclaim of the discards, which after discussion you even agreed was Anti-Town. Yet you tried to start it anyway.

As for LAMIST it means "Look At Me I'm So Town"

I didn't post it on the clan chat because I WASN'T THERE. I made one post an hour before the game was scheduled to start when I had barely enough signal to get on my browser, and one more this morning before I moved to the game thread.

As for the Survivor, how does that mean one less Town can die at night? We're going to have 7 Town whether the Survivor claims or not.

Same reason survivor shouldn't claim in a normal game.
If survivor claims they are 100% not getting NKed. That means a town is always going to die to it.

Survivor might also suffer a lynch just so we don't mislynch town too (this has happened so many times its no funny), so theres the points to convince you Survivor to not claim.
That first bit is actually a decent argument, though the second part is just a dick move if you ask me.

I suppose you have me convinced though, so I'll leave the decision up to the Survivor themself.

UNVOTE:

Based on his argument, scum would like the Survivor to claim so they can kill Town faster.

Therefore, pointing it out is pro-Town.

I gave away one of my discards. I don't know how that leads to a mass claim in anyway shape or form. You are making either a slippery slope argument or some how revealing 10 roles out of 30 that aren't in the game creates some effect where everyones roles are revealed [I can make up stupid logic too!]

If thats what lamist means, its pretty stupid term. Never heard a player say it I think. Weird.

Yes, you weren't there is my point. And not saying "Ohh you aren't there so you are scum" its the fact that you act like you were there thats the problem. You act as if you were part of the decision to say "lets not discard" but you weren't. You can't have it both ways. You either were there or you weren't.

If survivor doesn't claim they are susceptible to a night death.
I did READ the thread. I just wasn't there to actually participate in the discussion. I still saw the posts and can have opinions on them.

As for LAMIST it was used in one of my Newbie games to refer to posting things like "I am Town"

I will 100% oppose a Survivor lynch.

They could be a swing vote in lylo that may very well save this Town
Granted they could just as easily end us, but having them alive would give us that chance at surviving a critically low Town population.

Vedith, you're putting this against Ircher, yet I was the one who suggested the Survivor claim and I'm the one saying I'll be opposing a Survivor lynch.

Normally, I don't like saying things like "I should be a scumread," but in this case your logic doesn't line up with not at least mentioning me, and I worry that you might be trying to fake an association.

I'll be honest, I just half-read the last page, but I think a Shiro wagon has more merit than a Snarky wagon. Snarky showed up and just said hi, yes, but that to me indicates that he actually hasn't read anything yet and is just trying to prod dodge.
Shiro on the other hand, showed up as soon as we started talking about/voting her, then vanished again. I'd like to drag her back out, so...

VOTE: Shiro

@Vedith's thing about waiting to see my response
From what I can tell, the suspicion on me is that I wanted a Survivor to claim, which I have already conceded Might hurt Town when Fire pointed it out. My original statement came from simply wanting to help the Survivor, with the goal of getting the Town in their good graces should they live to LyLo. I've already said all of that, but that's all there is to say.

@TheNewEarth ( Caps for readability )
What was going through your head during the argument with Fire? You were both saying the exact same thing, so what did you think Fire was saying at the time?

So what you are saying is if we vote of someone from Dire now, then your clan can have full power of voting.
Where does that interest me in voting off a Dire clan member without proof?
The same could be said for us voting a Radiant member.

I think Dunnstral has the right idea, lynching without paying heed to clan, but frankly, I'd like to at least hit level 4 so I can try out all the abilities available in this run.
Perhaps that's a bit selfish, but this IS a game to test those abilities.

Thank you for the Votecount.

I unvoted Shiro, because the vote was based on the faulty information that she hadn't posted since the reading incident. I checked, and there she was, so I unvoted.
I'm worried about putting Snarky at L-1, because he's not here. I don't like lynching people that aren't here, and putting him at L-1 creates that risk.

L-2, however, I have fewer problems with.

I'm having a lot of trouble sorting you, my read seems to keep alternating from MegaScum to MegaTown. I think the problem is that your attitude seems sketchy to me, but your content looks Town. I'm going with the content for now.
TNE I think is being genuine, and therefore Town.
Ircher is my highest Townread, based on gut and a helpful, informative attitude
Dunnstral is second highest based on a sense of pure intentions.
Vedith is also difficult to read. I want to say it's a scumlean, but I fear that my personal feelings are interfering with my Mafia feelings.
Masquerade is probably my weakest Townread, based on gut alone.
Shiro, Yume, and Snarky need to post more before I can read them properly.

Anyways what is your thoughts on everyone radical?
I am not sure on you either because I know few people who swing to the two extremes of "MegaScum" to "MegaTown" on very little content. (We are only 13 pages in). So when you give two opposing things to read me as one way or the other it sounds like fence sitting. You give about 1 read that couldn't be flipped on anything, and its kind of flimsy to begin with "genuine".

Also regarding read on Ircher, what do you mean by "informative attitude"?

You say Dunnstral is a "high" read based on "pure intentions" read for what and what intentions does he have?
MegaScum and MegaTown are relative here. I chose them to express the polarity of my reads about you, not necessarily the actual strength.
Informative attitude being that he's willing to provide information and help move the game along.
Pure intentions being just a sense I get that Dunnstral is trying his best to help the Town.

As for these votes on me, I'm seeing a lot of people saying they think I'm scum, a few saying Survivor, but not a whole lot of reasoning.
Fire Assassin is the only one I've seen giving any substance to their suspicions, but they haven't settled on a read yet.

May I ask what I've done that makes me look bad? Regardless of what my alignment may or may not be, I'd like to know so I can better my play in the future.

Vedith is currently my top pick for Survivor, based on his joking/sarcastic attitude here. I feel like he's here to have a good time( As we all should be, but I digress ), and not necessarily pushing any one side to win.

I don't think Vedith is mafia though. I've thought things through and think they're more likely to be Survivor.
Besides, I'm being voted under suspicion of being Survivor, so naturally I'd be looking for the real Survivor.

I believe there is one scum, maybe even both, in Snarky/Yume. Shiro, Maybe, but I feel like she'd be trying to push a lynch if she were scum.

And yeah, I was afraid the alignment comment would come out looking weird. Essentially, I don't believe that saying I'm Town is going to sway anyone, so I'd rather make my appeals from the point of view of my wagon to avoid just being ignored as though I were Scum.

It also isn't really helping my play being a Hero with some rather strange abilities. I picked this one because I found them interesting, but I'm not quite sure how to play with this yet.

Sighs wearily.
If I'm going to be lynched, I hope you'll indulge me in one last request.

Wait.

We have two players who have barely posted, and I'd like for us to be sure we've pursued all avenues of discussion before we go ending the day prematurely.

Technically, I did hit L-1, and I said I would claim. I worry this will get me NKed, but if I get lynched that won't matter anyway.

I'm Town Bane, with current abilities Enfeeble and Brain Sap, both of which allow me to mess with the votes. Enfeeble will let me remove someone's voting ability, and Brain Sap will let me redirect votes off of me.

I don't think anyone on my wagon is lynch-worthy ( Lynching Survivor is a dick move imo, and I feel like actual Scum is either Yume, Snarky, or both ), and while removing a vote is tempting, I'd rather the votes on me be moved somewhere useful.

But if you didn't want me to claim, you should have said something earlier when I said I would claim at L-1.

Out of the remaining players, it'd have to be either you, Shiro, or FA.

Though it should be noted that this is D1, and it's all subject to change as more information comes out.

I claimed at L-2, because I promised to at L-1, and had hit L-1 earlier in the game.

I said lynching survivor is a dick move because it is. Unless you have no other options, why would you lynch a non threat? It's just rude.

About the abilities, I picked them because they were the least standard and most interesting. I actually didn't even check my alignment until after I had decided.

It was not possible for me to have picked my role without noticing my alignment. Pretty sure you just slipped as survivor

I think they'd be kind of hard to miss if I did.
So no. I have not.

I intend to Brain Sap immediately if I think Scum winds up on my wagon, and will Enfeeble someone on another wagon if I feel confident in calling lynchbait.

Due to the game-flow altering effects of these abilities, I will only be using them publicly.

Well, there's no sense just sitting around waiting. We've got a game to play.

If Snarky flips scum, I will put money on TNE being their scumbuddy.
She spent half a page ranting about how much they hated that lynch in the Radiant chat, calling it a policy lynch and stupid. I don't believe either of those are entirely accurate.

If Snarky flips town, I'm less confident about that, but I still find it strange that she would freak out about the lynch in the PT without half the wagon present.

First, let me just say: Totally called it.

That aside, look through my ISO, and all my preaching about letting the Survivor live, and tell me I either killed, or allowed a kill, on them.
If that isn't enough, consider all that everyone else has said about Mafia not killing the Survivor.

If I knew who the Survivor was, and I did, my Mafia would never had made that kill. So the only conclusion is: I'm not Mafia.

While we're waiting on people to show up and either vote or argue, shall we discuss our respective PTs?

Radiant was mostly quiet, with a bit of discussion of Shiro's action yesterDay, and whether the role choice is alignment indicative. We didn't really come to any real conclusions though.

Speaking of Shiro...
Have you and Snarky anything relevant to report?

There has to be at least one cop ability, because of Dragon Knight's Dragon Blood giving a passive Town result.

I'll start digging through the heroes to find one now.

You sheeped Dunn until it was pointed out that there were no cop abilities by Fire.

From the beginning of the day, Ircher was more concerned with Fire's visitors than Fire himself. Did you not think that someone with a guilty would have started the wagon, or at the very least pushed, instead of sheeping it when you did?

@Ircher

If you roleblocked everyone who visited FA, why did you ask who they were?
When you first asked I thought you must have been some kind of Watcher, looking to catch people lying about their visits... but as a roleblocker, I don't see what you gain from knowing that.

Dunnstral already said he thought you had a guilty, and tried claiming it to take the kill for you. Which sounds both plausible, and extremely pro-town.

Either this is Town vs. Town or you're the scum in Town vs. Scum.

As for why Dunn can't be scum, it's because a scum player would have to be completely off their rocker to think they could get away with a fake guilty like that. The only reason anyone would fake a guilty like that, is for the very reason Dunnstral stated: Protecting the real cop.

Honestly, I think Earth is too angry to be scum.

In my, admittedly limited, experience, Scum players don't start getting themselves pissed off until AFTER they're caught. Whereas Earth has been angry all game, and feels more like frustrated Town to me.

Alright, so I'd really like to see Earth and Dunn's flips.

I townread them both. But my townread on Earth is... A strange one. Almost dependent on my townread on Dunnstral.
And that... Is suspicious.

Dunnstral is a real, proper townread. But his devotion, insistence that Earth is Town, when she's posted very little at all, let alone to help the Town...

These two are either Town together or Scum together. And there's only one way to find out which.

This time you respond, but I can't tell if that is because you're town this time or if it's because you realize ignoring me again will basically make you confscum to me. Anyway, you can have a little more time because rn I'm scumreading Rat more.

Confident in what? You said tne and I are town together or maf together and you're townreading both of us but want to lynch tne anyway, it's dumb
I don't have any scumreads though.
As of right now, I am townreading everyone in the game. Which is a problem.

I'm confident that you and TNE are connected somehow. Whether that's as Scum or via an ability, I don't know. But that makes you two the most likely Scum right now.

Instead of attacking me:

Someone give me a catchup. i'm going to read back but help a guy build some momentum
Day One:
We lynched Snarky Snowman, who flipped Town, on the grounds that he was posting in the Dire PT, and elsewhere on the site according to Vedith, but refused to post much in the main thread claiming to be too busy.
Shiro used her Spirit Siphon ability to create a PT with the late Snarky.

Night One:
Vedith was killed, and flipped Survivor.

Day Two:
People start voting me since, despite me insisting otherwise, I was being read as Survivor, and somehow people thought I claimed it. I disprove that line of thinking by quoting posts where I refuted these allegations, and some where I clearly stated that Vedith was my survivor readhas, also eliminating any reason for me to have made or allowed that kill.
Ircher claimed to have roleblocked Fire Assassin, along with any potential visitors.
Dunnstral misinterpreted this as sorting a guilty, and fakeclaimed the guilty to draw the NK away from Ircher. He admitted this once Ircher's claim was better specified.
From there, the votes have naturally spread out to where they are now.

So lets do smart things now and sheep me on Rat ok.
Maybe the smart thing for scum to do.

Look, I know that right now my reads are sketchy. I'm nervous about them too, because like I said, I'm townreading Earth and Dunn. But you can't ALL be town, so I have to lynch someone. Which is why I'm going for the lower risk of the two.

I have to just ask you to trust that I'm Town. Vedith's death backs up that claim too.

Okay, I didn't want to take my vote off Earth today, but hiplop is starting to give me some really bad vibes.

I don't like how very little effort has been put into the game, yet he's already making a lynch line.
I also don't like that he decided Dunnstral was confscum based on one post that, to me anyway, didn't seem very AI.

So, while I feel bad lynching you right after you replace in...

It's my understanding that a no lynch is always an awful idea.

It's the one kill the town has control over, and to give that up and just wait for the Mafia to kill us... Bad plan.

Last time I let the emotional manipulation and "are you really this bad" posts dissuade me from a wagon, the slot was Scum.

Well, !@#$.

I think this is actually the first game I've played on-site where I was just 100% wrong. Live and learn I suppose.

Still, it was fun, if a bit frustrating at times.
Thanks for the swaggin' setup Frozen, and thanks for making it a good time everyone else.

I noticed that too.

We may not be equipped to deal with secret mafia uprisings, but we'll still win the Radiant/Dire war.
