That's not a refutation whatsoever.

If someone's role has a positive town utility, and it is reasonable to assume that eventually we can sort the claim by any number of means, it makes sense not to risk the potential positive utility by lynching the PR claim D1.

This holds for any PR.

In fact, the only PR that I would ever consider lynching D1 is probably an Ascetic just due to the nature of the role.
