On the mechanics of mlaker's role- first of all, I do believe him. Here's how I think the doc protections would work.

mlaker hides at person X's house, doc protects mlaker, mafia targets person X---> both die
mlaker hides at person X's house, doc protects mlaker, mafia targets mlaker---> none die
mlaker hides at person X's house, doc protects person X, mafia targets person X--->either both saved, or mlaker dies. I'm not sure about the mechanics of this, though.
mlaker hides at person X's house, doc protects person Y, mafia targets person X---> both die

Has shadyforce claimed? I forgot.

Also, I don't think any docs should protect mlaker. If he doesn't die when the Mafia target him [when he's hiding], then he probably won't be protected when the doc targets him when he's hiding. And the Mafia have no use for killing mlaker anyway.

I'm not getting all this crap logic Leo is throwing at us, because IMO, mlaker's role is hardly useful, and the docs have a low chance of protecting cops the same night Mafia targets them anyway. I believe mlaker, and I don't know why Leo is 1) making fifty thousand posts in a row, 2) undermining his own theories, and 3) not making any reasonable theories.

If he's telling the truth, he's going to hide with Mafia and die eventually. If he's not, at some point, we're going to think 'hey, why isn't he dead yet...' There is more than ONE Mafia member in the town, stop focussing on one person.

We can tackle the cop thing when/if it happens! For all we know, Mafia could off the cop & backup tonight and tomorrow night, and all this squabbling will be for nothing.

Please stop posting so many posts in a row. I can handle a double post or three, but when you're making four posts in a row, each consisting of one sentence, it gets REALLY annoying.

I'm actually very interested in Fletcher's little ability... mlaker has died, and was a hider, correct? It seems a bit off that two hiders would be in the same game, at least without some huge variation to their role.

Also curious about the Berlucci v. Reg thing.
