Voting/Player Actions:

- All votes must be in bold format: vote: Nexus for example.
- Try to unvote before voting. Unvotes must also be in bold.
- Any and all votes will be counted, if you wish to waste a day phase voting for someone not in the game,that's fine by me.
- You may vote No Lynch.
- Voting tricks are not acceptable. If you misspell someone's name intentionally, but I get the gist of it, the vote will count.
- A lynch will occur once a majority decision is reached. If no majority is reached by deadline, then no lynch shall occur.
- Following a lynch, it is twilight. You may continue to post until I lock the thread and declare it night.
- If you are killed, one Bah! type post is permitted. No game related information must be relayed during them, however.
- If you have a Night Action, you may submit it from Night 1 and each subsequent Night. No other time.

Activity:

- You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours. If you haven't posted for 48 hours, I shall prod you. If you do not respond to the prod within 48 hours (either in thread if it's Day, or via PM during the Night) then I will replace you.
- Similarly, if you require more than three prods, I will force-replace you.

Mechanics:

- Blue is my colour. Please don't use it.

- Confirm by how your Role PM tells you to once you are ready to play. Once there are 17 confirms, the game begins.
- Do not edit your posts.
- No impossible/hard to read text, or cryptography.
- The Mod may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- If there is a hydra in the game, you must not post in your normal account. Doing so and then not quoting it as a hydra will invite a warning. Excessive failure to post as a hydra and not quoting it will result in force-replacement.
- If you need to get the mod's attention, either PM me, or bold the text you wish to draw to my attention.
- I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens, however.

Yet again, he had got himself embroiled in another mystical case where the Catholic Church didn't want him to be. So, as usual, they'd sent someone to come and kill him. They didn't bother with the albino monk this time though, no, they sent some trained killers. With guns.

Langdon ducked behind a pew of the church. He breathed heavily, checking his Mickey Mouse watch for the time. Where were the police? He's called them half an hour ago. He had to drop his phone halfway through the conversation, but he was sure they would've arrived by now.

Oh well. Time was running out for him. The assassin stalked down the aisle of the church, calling Langdon out. He obviously didn't respond, so the assassin shot into the air. Langdon flinched. He decided to try and run out of the church, to escape. He breathed heavily, taking in a deep breath.

He launched himself back into the aisle, avoiding the chips of stone as another bullet flew off a pillar. Langdon swore, running as quick as he could. The assassin, however, was well trained. He stood his ground. He levelled his gun. He took aim. He fired. The bullet took Langdon in the shoulder, and he collapsed to the ground. The assassin stepped over him, as Langdon rolled around. They looked each other in the eye. Langdon nodded, as the assassin pulled the trigger again.

It was hell in the zombie apocalypse, it really was. One day you're watching your best friend get shot by some scumbag criminal, the next (well, skip a few), you're fucking his wife whilst his kid sleeps in a tent nearby. Then, when your best friend magically reappears from the dead, everyone decides to love him, and for some reason decide that you are the scum of the earth. Scum of the earth which also contains millions of reanimated corpses, who would like nothing more than to chew on your brains, to be precise!

Shane hated them all. He hated their shitty little group, with their shitty little personalities, and their shitty little judgemental stares. He wanted to get rid of them. He wanted to be free. He didn't need them! He had all the weapons. He didn't have much ammo, but he was sure he could find some. Somewhere.

Of course, going out into a zombie apocalypse alone was probably a bad idea. Yet Shane didn't care. He just wanted to be rid of them all. Rid of the annoying little shit of a boy. Rid of the whiny women, the tough-talking, chickenshit-acting men, and rid of all of his troubles. He was tempted to ask Lori to come with him, but since Rick had come back, she wasn't interested. She was probably carrying his baby, but she'd stopped talking to him.

They'd soon realise their mistake once he'd gone. By then though, it'd be too late....

....they came for him during the Night. They must have found out his plans. There were a load of faces that he didn't recognise as they strung him up from a tree. He felt his neck snap as he drew his final breath. So, this was the end. Better than being bitten I suppose.

Bast whistled as he sauntered down the stairs to open the inn up ready for the new day. Already he could hear some of the other occupants shuffling about in their rooms, and he knew that he needed to get a shift on otherwise they'd be left wanting their breakfast. He smiled as he remembered the stories he had heard the previous day, and at how much his friend and master, Kote, had been through. Of course, he wasn't really called Kote, but once you get into the habit of calling a person something, it's hard to break.

Bast was pleased to see Chronicler waiting outside ready for the next day. Obviously he was as eager as Bast was to hear the final part of Kote's story. What dangers would he have faced to get to where he is now? What heartbreak? Any joy in there? Bast smiled at Chronicler as he let the writer in, and watched as he settled down in the now customary place near the fire. The man pulled out his writing equipment, as Bast readied himself making breakfast.

"No sign of Kvothe yet?" Chronicler called across the bar to Bast.

"Not yet. I'm not worried though."

"He deserves his rest, story-telling really does take it out of you."

By now, the rest of the patrons had risen from their slumber, and were down demanding to be fed. Bast got on with it with quiet efficiency, as Chronicler observed and watched how the boy expertly manipulated the different tasks he had to balance in order to make a delicious breakfast. Once everyone was fed and watered, they began to file out. Chronicler went across to help Bast clear away, then the two of them decided to go and knock on Kvothe's door and rouse him from his slumber.

They got there, and his door was locked. Bast pressed his ear against the door, but he couldn't hear anything. He was starting to panic now. He banged on the door to try and rouse the innkeeper, but there was no response. Bast ran down the stairs and grabbed the crowbar from under the bar. He pried the room door open with help from Chronicler, and then collapsed at the scene in front of him. There was Kvothe, on the floor. He wasn't breathing. He didn't have a mark upon him. He was, however, dead. Bast sobbed, as Chronicler noticed a scrap of paper beside him...

'A search of my body and you will find a book by Stanislavski and town.'

"How odd," Chronicler murmured.

"What are we going to do?" Bast demanded.

"There isn't anything we can do...."

Elsewhere, a man was preparing to do his duty. The one that he had been paid for. He cursed the day that he had ever met Mr. Wednesday. He cursed the fact that his girlfriend was killed in a car accident whilst sucking off his best friend. He cursed the fact that his life since then had been a whirlwind of meeting Gods, being pulled from pillar to post, and being forced to protect people that he doesn't know. He pulled on his suit and went to stand outside the door of his latest charge.

He sighed as he was stood there. He hated this. The waiting. The longest wait. All he had to do was stand. And think. Thinking is never good. He sighed as he looked at his watch. Time was going slowly.

Shadow heard a noise inside the room. He turned to try and open the door, but it was locked. He tried to barge it down, but was unsuccessful. He heard a noise behind him. Wheeling around, he took an arrow to the chest. Then a second one. He didn't see who killed him, but his last thought was of his ex-girlfriend and her propensity to give road-head. Not a pleasant one.

Yet that Potter boy had once again thwarted them, and she had ended up in Azkaban. Again. This time, there weren't Dementors, no, there were just other idiotic wizards with a self-inflated sense of their own strength. She knew that she could beat all of them, if only they gave her a wand. She was prodigious enough to have the skill to not need her wand. She just needed to get a stupid stick. It didn't even have to be her own. She was so powerful. So strong.

She wanted to find that bitch Molly Weasley, and she wanted to teach her a lesson. Then she wanted to make the silly woman watch as her children were tortured, and slowly killed. Then she would kill her. Then she would find the Itty Bitty Potter, and finish the job that her master had started. She would also destroy her stupid friends and every single one of the stupid Order of the Phoenix. Then she would be ruler of the world.

Yeah. It was all so simple, apart from the fact she didn't have a wand. Not that it mattered anymore. There was a disturbance outside her cell. The door was wrenched off the hinges. She was knocked unconscious.

Lisbeth Salander smiled as she brute forced her way into yet another asshole's computer. She doesn't even need to be subtle, most people don't even realise that she's doing what she has done. She quickly flicked through the files, and found the ones she was looking for. The smile grew wider as she copied them onto her hard drive, before logging back out and closing her computer down. She looked around her apartment. It really could do with a tidy. Since she had lost contact with that journalist, she hadn't had much time for people. She wasn't bothered - the money that she had made had kept her busy. She wandered to the kitchen and made dinner, just a quick pot of noodles. High living!

She went back to her Macbook, and saw an email. She opened it and saw the words "I'm outside." Lisbeth checked the address - it wasn't one she recognised. She quickly crossed the room to where she kept her handgun, and picked it up, before walking to the door. She looked through the spyhole, but she couldn't see anything, or anyone. Sighing, she walked back to the computer. There was another email. This one said "We're inside your house."

Lisbeth shook her head, and closed the computer down. She wasn't worried. Right up until the point she was shot in the back. She didn't survive it.

Her computer had opened itself back up. The words "There would be no guy, no angel, no sword of savage kings." were on the screen.

The sound came again. Katniss tensed up. She was getting good at that. Tensing up that is. She had been out in the Hunger Games arena for a while now...she'd lost track of time. She couldn't die though, not now. She was the Girl Who Was On Fire. The Mockingjay. She had to survive. For District 12. For District 13. For Peeta. For Prim. For herself.

She ducked out of the way as the first missile flew past her ear. It was only a rock, for now. Designed to slow her down. Or distract her. The latter, as it turned out. Another tribute crashed out of the bushes in front of her and stabbed towards her with his trident. She sidestepped deftly, pulling up her bow and drawing back an arrow. Her aim was knocked off, however, as a rock connected with her. She stumbled as the trident-wielder turned around and lunged again. Katniss jumped back. She dropped her bow, and pulled out the knife which she had taken from the Cornucopia. She danced around the next blow, as she sliced towards the boy's face. She caught his cheek, and it immediately gushed blood. Smirking, Katniss dodged another blow from the trident as she felt her legs be taken out from beneath her. Someone had tackled her.

She woke up. There was a tight noose around her neck. Struggling around, she tried to escape. She couldn't. She heard Caesar Flickerman's voice come across the tannoy. "Katniss Everdeen, thorn in our side, the girl who was on fire, it's time for you to be extinguished."

There was a crowd of people around her hanging form now. They weren't all Tributes. She didn't recognise most of them. The look of hatred that they had for her, however, was unmistakeable. As the last breath was leaving her body, she saw all of them repeat the same gesture as she had made during her first Hunger Games. The one that had been copied by the various Districts. Only this time, it wasn't made in solidarity....

Right, I guess I'd best address the modkill first, since that ultimately ended the game. I didn't want to do it. No mod ever wants to modkill. However, I had to. Viomi broke a

fundamental

rule of any mafia game. You DO NOT quote mod communications. I don't mind paraphrasing, but the direct quote took the piss, and it unfortunately left me with no choice. I even consulted with four other mafiascum mods - Faraday, Izzy, Cay and Tierce, and they all agreed. It wasn't a decision I took lightly. The reason I didn't end the game there and then was because the scum could've fucked up. They didn't. Viomi has since PMed me and called my decision wrong, and said she's blacklisting me, which is fine, since she's blacklisted from all games I ever mod again anyway.

ArcAngel9's role - I didn't realise there was another role called a schizophrenic. My apologies. It was put in to give another result for the Hacker (PeregrineV's role). That was it. It was designed to create paranoia and get the player's thoughts in the topic.

Generally I thought it was a decent game - I have no idea why Viomi didn't use her rolecop every night, and the GNR lynch was AWFUL. I also don't know why MonkeyMan576 didn't use the fake-claim information that was given in his role PM, but whatever, rod for his own back.

Activity was average, which was fine.

Overall I enjoyed it, up until the modkill. I apologise for the lack of flavour towards the end, but I got ridiculously busy.

I didn't investigate PeregineV, you never communicated that to me anyways, so.

The rule says "real or fabricated." You've directly quoted a fabricated PM, implying that it's from me. If you'd just paraphrased and said "I found out he was a *****" then that would've been fine.

The reason you are blacklisted is because you are incapable of following the rules, and as a result ruined the game. I will not take the risk of you ruining another game. This, coupled with the fact you show no remorse for your actions, means I know that any game I run in the future will be better off without you.
