1.) The case on him is misguided. As Mollie herself pointed out (while voting for him), Hostile Intent's meta indicates that he starts from a townread and works from there - therefore, him calling "seems town enough" a null read is consistent with his scumhunting methodology.

2.) If he were scum, he would have gone out of his way to avoid the appearance of contradiction - he wouldn't have called "seems town enough" null, he just wouldn't have touched on it at all. How could he forget he said that? Answer: Because he's town and isn't paranoid enough to check his last ten posts every time he makes a statement about his prior reads.

tl;dr Hostile Intent is town because he was lazy and made a statement about his previous reads that was going to sound silly as soon as it was investigated - scum-HI would have hastily reread the posts in question before saying he hadn't espoused a read yet and rephrased to avoid this debacle.

You do realize that scum make mistakes too right? Also, your reasons for thinking he's town make no sense. If his methodology is to go from town reads and work from there, saying someone is "town enough" literally means said person is (or posts or seems) town. Saying someone is town enough with his claimed methodology is literally saying the person falls into a town category because the person has enough of 'X' to be town. I'm not even taking into account that IF it did actually mean 'null' to him, it still makes no sense to just settle and be good with voting a null read and not moving on to find someone that isn't null...

The one thing it does show is that both TD and HI were higher lynch targets and then all a sudden FF becomes the lynch of the day. This suggests to me that scum have an interest in having TD and/or HI alive. I don't know if that's b/c they are scum have have buddies or if it's because they are town and really off on their reads. I'm always paranoid of the former. This also suggests a push by scum toward the end to get FF lynched. Both HI and TD are at the end of the FF wagon which solidifies my thinking either or both might be scum.

-PV is likely town unless Titus really thought she'd never be lynched. 515 is way too early to be calling scum buddies town imo.

@Kthx- TD is ConfNeighborizer with at least 3 shots. That has no place on the MafiaTeam we've seen flipped. I see what the VCA says, but the meta doesn't add up in any sensible fashion. Mafia Encryptor with a Neighborizer? I mean, really? What's the penalty to eliminating DayTalk if they can just build a freaking Neighborhood with DayTalk? And that doesn't even begin to speak to the overlap on a seriously hindered Mafia Team against an Investigative/Protective combo. There's no balance in Goon{x2}/Tailor/Encryptor/Neighborizer/? vs SK vs Cop/Protective/Bomb/?. I don't think I've ever seen jT build a broken setup, so I'm not even entertaining that option.

There is plenty of reason to have a neighborizer on the mafia team even with an Encryptor. Not gonna play out-guess the Mod here, but there are very many scenarios where it works. Also, I must have missed the post where the Neighborizer gave the neighborhood day talk?

A Neighborizer is a player who can target other players at Night to recruit them into a Neighborhood. They may begin speaking to each other at the end of the Night, or at the beginning of the next Night - it depends on whether the moderator allows the Neighbors to speak during the Day.

Anyway, I've been a scum neighborizer so don't play the 'they are almost always town' card either.

You're also assuming only 1 scum left.

That makes it a very strong scum PR no matter what you say. D1 results say TD is a fucking scum neighborizer. The fucking end. Lynching him tomorrow. At one point, the 4 flipped scum are on the OTHER 2 highest wagons (HI and FF). There is no reason for this other than to push wagons that AREN'T on their scum buddy. I repeat, TD is fucking lynched tomorrow or I'll self vote the rest of the game so I don't have to deal with blind stupidity from town.

The more I look at VCA, I think D4 is really important especially if Fish flips town. As much as I like the guys, I think Kise, Ank and d3x look the worst from the D4 VCA. All 3 were on Fish before the cop result which would force anyone (especially scum) to jump on for the lynch and for scum, they need to do this even more-so in order to save face. After TD flips scum, there is (with damn near 100% probability) scum in that group of 3.

Since we had a fbi agent it is near guaranteed that the sk in this game is. So all that stuff about sc not being sk because he was investigated by pere well that's worthless.

If we are lynching someone else today, I expect to be killed at night or win before endgame. If it goes to endgame and I'm left, I expect whoever is also town to not get suckered into the same shit that went down today. Yeah, this may be a bit much to ask since without a cop clear or provable PR I'm asking someone else in my same position to just trust me, but I'm also trying to make sure we as town have the best odds at winning.

Nope. I think it's a despicable way to win and you should be ashamed. If you would have been vanilla town, you would have replaced in a heart beat. You can say you wouldn't, but I won't believe you.

I stayed with this game because:

1. it is a large game which is MUCH harder to find replacements for.

2. I am invested in this game because I have been here from the beginning and love the mod and his games ♥

I made the mistake of signing up for more games thinking things had settled but turned out that things went south, so I went back down to ONE game this one.

So basically you are saying at this point when town is in a pretty darned good place with finding many of the mafia (not as sure as some that all are gone), it is time for a policy lynch on the hopes you might get the SK?
