The mollie wagon seems aggressive, and I actually do not think she is scum despite her tunneling on Antihero.

I can see theamateur being scum for his voting-the-mod post. In the same fake-sounding vein, beastcharizard's 128 doesn't feel right to me. Neither does Psyche's claim with a lack of vote (147).

I'm going to go on record as saying I am not a fan of Post 218 by Gilgamesh. I don't like either vote (the first is an RVS vote when the rest of the post demonstrates that Gilgamesh knows we're not in RVS anymore, so it's clearly for show; the second doesn't sync up with the reads in the post to me. Voting the mod is not worse than having hinky feelings about Beast's post or Psyche's post imo).

Beast's post warranted a vote moreso than amateur, to be honest. However, mongrel, you do not have the right to tell your king which of his servants should be executed or go free.

My apologies for my lack of presence the past few days. Other duties called to me.

Bookitty's convoluted method of scumhunting on page 14 (327 etc.) feels off to me. I could see it as either scum trying very hard to fabricate scumhunting, or town putting in honest effort. I cannot sort the two at this time. For now, I shall read her as town, simply for effort this early in the game - and yes, I know that is somewhat fallacious.

The ika wagon seems very RVS-esque; voting a player for not posting when there's plenty of actual content to go on.

As for farside's case on mastin ([post]421[/post)... I would hate to go back on my word and eliminate such a valuable ally. She does make a good point in her defense that scum would not have trouble fabricating reasons for reads, especially someone as experienced as mastin.

One person/farside called it scummy. If she's of the opinion it was scumposting, why do you think "193 is a nulltell" will satisfy her or change her mind? You didn't exactly detail why it couldn't be coming from a scum mindset--personally I townread him for it because that was very attention grabbing. You haven't engaged her further about it even when she continued calling Reina scum. Help me understand the purpose of limply throwing out a nullread, context FULLY understood. I don't see why it exist.

I don't see the scum motivation in Seraphim claiming x-shot BP and then not using that for backing out of the 1v1. I also don't see why he would, as scum, get into the 1v1 in the first place. His initial BP-related question to Heartless, followed up by voting him and claiming otherwise, makes no sense as scum. Similarly, why would he proceed to do this after counterwagoning his buddy?

It is still quite possible that Heartless is scum - simply claim D1 negative utility (with nothing really provable/with easily faked utility, and a claim like this seems more likely to come from scum than Sera's actions today, despite my townread on them for the random d1 claim), kill farside at Night. farside seems to be a more logical NK target from multiple factions as opposed to Heartless, which is an unlikely anti-town NK target (vig, possibly). They could still have received the BP vest or another invention, potentially picking up on PR vibes from farside; I initially disliked the "GODDAMMIT FARSIDE" comment at start of day. It reeked of overdramatic. The players in the Heartless slot would be prepared enough as scum to research mod-meta for handling BP-related stuff before making the claim to add legitimacy.

Food for thought.

In short, I would rather vote Heartless today over Seraphim if the choices came down to it - the addition of hydra dissonance is not helping their case.

However, I wish for more prolific players to weigh in, especially the ones lurking by with zero content.

However, Seraphim had other options for engaging and disengaging Heartless between the case and various claim-related things and has chose, in my opinion, the least likely options for scum. His posts in 960-962 (post-case) seem more 'stream of conciousness', as scum would be more likely to dismiss the accusations via case instead of prodding for more claim information. Town are more likely to not worry about case posts such as Heartless.

First, I could see a powerful scum role or scum team being balanced with potential negative utility.

Second, your abilities are randomized, yes? I'm assuming they can potentially repeat. Therefore, you could be a scum role with PGO/Supersaint/whatever else. Post Restriction is even fakeable. Until your role becomes an Actor/Hated, the chances of your role being scum are at minimum equal to town, and even afterwards there is the chance it's still a scum role.

If I'm wrong, you can call me bad in postgame. The mods can wonder why I'm so off base. But for the time being, I will not concern myself with those opinions.

To answer anxiety's question: this is the reason I asked BRO if Seraphim was scum with ika or on another team...

Anyways, I'm happy with Seraphim lynch.

2 of {Gilgamesh, Reina, mollie, Bookitty} are partners with seraphim.

1715 is where he answers ("probably with ika"). The reason I asked is because, although I am obviously biased, it is highly unlikely that I would be scum with both Seraphim and ika given my read of him Day 1 coupled with my opinions on the Sera/Heartless scenario D2. Especially after being aware of how my ika interactions looked, which I pointed out in 1157. Therefore, I find it interesting that he would include me on a list of partners with Seraphim, let alone have me be narrowed down as one of the two.

In addition, for a player with such a loud voice as BROseidon (well, when he is being strung up for his own noose at least), he seems to have calmly switched over from wanting to lynch Seraphim (followed by me and Bookitty) to lynching Reina and Bookitty, whilst not even bothering to push Sera at this juncture. It feels like scum sticking to their pre-calculated/formulated reads.

I believe BRO is good enough of a player to skate by on a doctor fakeclaim, although I suppose scum are forced to kill him at this juncture so we have at least a few days before we have to bother.

Likewise with Bookitty, who's avoided me since her fourth post of the game. Hostile Intent I won't even bother with; he was sheeping my vote three hours ago. And Reina at least was considering it earlier this Day. I probably have the least amount of problems with him.

We have a potential guilty, someone we assumed was scum unlynchable, Heartless and Seraphim are still alive, a living doc claim (I will mirror the person who said not to worry about it immediately, but it's still an issue IMO). If you want to lynch me, or get me NKed, I'm fine with that. We should deal with these situations first. If I'm run up to claim, that gives us half the game that has claimed - that's far too much on D3 even accounting for potential scum and not counting softclaims. Call it appeal to logic/emotion, or survivalist, but I'll also apply this to other lynches for today. We have three scum and an SK down, we need to start narrowing down our current claims.

Just because we've derped around each Day, run up some wagons, then gone in the opposite direction full-speed-ahead and happened to hit scum, doesn't mean it's going to happen every single time.

As for who I recommend lynched today, estival or vonflare seems the best option. I will lend my vote to either of these, with a preference towards vonflare. You can even lynch me tomorrow and save the other for D5 (assuming the vig doesn't off them (I doubt we have two SKs)).

Eventually, Heartless' neg-utility can bite us in the ass, so he needs to die in a few days. Preferably with an extra day to revisit Seraphim if necessary.

There's a chance she's town, but your theory of her being one-shot unlynchable made sense. Her claiming the one-shot today is a nulltell, obviously.

I have doubts on her AND vonflare being scum together (seems too easy, between chaining scum wagons to estival -> Shaft -> esti/vonflare & her defense of von) but I still want her gone to eliminate doubt/paranoia if the game gets anywhere near lylo. She also spouts a fair bit of noise which doesn't help her case.

p.s. - 2741 is an awful recent post between "if he's town" and "if the game is still going tomorrow" plus the ridiculous logic being used to discredit Jackel's claim.

I want to revisit Seraphim at some point between his activity dropping after his pressure and the fact that the BP-notification-counterclaim thing never really got settled.

I'm also disappointed with being considered scum after ignoring my "buddy's" wagon D1 with bad reasoning, "bussing" D2 and 3, and being the counterwagon to scum D3 (whose predecessor asked scum to not kill me, if that matters for anything). Flubber is the only person you could potentially link me to as I ignored him. Shame on you for wasting a cop shot on me, but whatever.

We should massclaim today, as at least 9 of the 14 alive have claimed or softclaimed. Might as well get it over with, especially with 4 scum dead (I'm thinking only 1-2 more scum, leaning one, with a survivor and SK).

Varsoon's softclaim doesn't clear him, but goes a bit lower on the priority list. I definitely want to hear more from mastin if she has time (and definitely if she replaces out due to stress or something).

Boonskiies also goes slightly lower on the priority list for hammering and L-1ing the first two scum, but since it's apparently somewhat "meta", he doesn't quite get a pass.

I have literally no read on Marquis.

Peregrine is probably the person I'd like dead the most, as Honeybee gets slightly more towncred for being on the last two scumwagons despite not being on ika.

I definitely think Varsoon should be one of the first few to fullclaim. Peregrine, Boonskiies, Varsoon, Marquis, Honeybee, Mastin, then whoever else (did Psyche fullclaim?) seems like a solid order based off the above. I'd like to claim between the Varsoon-Marquis spot or at any point after. Of course, more input is welcome from those that have already claimed. I feel that this is more efficient to catch scum than the "popcorn" method.

I can nameclaim if that'll help nudge people towards massclaiming today.

I want to really think she is scum based off of her generally sketchy play, hard defense of vonflare yesterday, and her claim feeling more scum combined with the survivor claim, but I also feel that it's... too easy, y'know?

But my reads have been very, very 'off' this game, so she might just be the optimal choice after massclaim.

[pedit] I can sympathize with the sentiment, Varsoon. I doubt The Critic(s) made the game breakable by masssclaim at least, I just believe with four scum down and probably few left, it's important to help 'solve the puzzle' so to speak.
