If that is the case and they don't have to make it public, I'd prefer them to keep it to themselves at least for that day as I'd prefer scum not have any more information than they already have. Besides their choice will help in reading them as well.

Glass leaving is terrible for this game. As such, I promise to pick it up just a little bit and slightly abandon flavour by the end of the week ( at a wedding now and a business trip during the week, so I'm basically posting from mobile till then).

Axe actually is scum though. If I wasn't sure of it, I would likely coddle up to him as I did in the last game we played together, where, incidentally, he mentioned I am the best player he knows. I like Seiko as scum for writing big blocks without committing to anything.
I have been overly harsh on Homunculus but am by no means convinced of town alignment. Gut feeling is gut feeling.

We haven't played enough challenging games lately for there to be an objective answer. When I am an observer, I am very good at reading axe. When playing with him, I am not great at early town reading him but I am generally much better at early scum reading him. Of course, a lot of the time I also am not immediately certain, saying anything else would obviously be a lie.

Axe would generally be more of a threat to me in terms of his reading ability late game. His strengths, when he chooses to try, are in analyzing people over longer periods - which he can get quite good at. You can tell by his reasoning here that his early read of me is pretty useless.

It is also classic of scum axe to try to make me irrelevant by day two through nk or turning people against me. Usually we would be on the same page d1 but my start here gave him an opening he couldn't pass up.
