While I understand the benefits of having everyone adopt the same system, forcing it into a random year (and not the current one) seems like a massive waste of time and energy.

On top of that, so long as years flow in the same manner (ie new year within the same 24 hours), there's no actual issue.

I do believe that Mhork should probably have a better grip on his country - but I think that other countries are being far too harsh (and contradictory) on him.

My opinion of the matter is this:

Lord Mhork has currently stated he's launching an investigation - if we want another region that is unrelated to the controversy at all to do one as well, that should happen soon. Aside from that, I believe Mhork has apologized? I believe the thing to do now is to watch and see if anything like this continues. If it happens again, then the world stage should be worried for whatever reason - whether it is truly Mhork behind the actions or not.
