My hydra partner discussed this briefly yesterday, I'd love to just copypaste or discussion to make it simpler for everyone but let me dwell into reasoning behind our reads.

Anyways, my partner was scumreading bro because their explanation was scum wouldn't want to push for something that can potentially out them. I thought he was town because one, scum wouldn't openly object to something that would hinder town progress, which is what led me to the assumption that he's a bit new to the setup. To be honest, I was confused at why the massclaim was brought up so early and would've said no, but I did the do and asked why a massclaim is viable in this current setup. I'm still a bit foggy on what happens with massive Hider chains but I'll catch up sooner or later because Varsoon has been explaining (which I'll read over again soon)

So that's why BRO looks town to me, cautiousness looks like he's being naive and somewhat-new to the theme. Also, he brought up a Tracker from a different game where there was a hider as well, but this is most certainly not comparable to that.

Err Ghatokaca was more of a gutread for me considering he's pushing pretty weirdly on BRO plus the overall tone of his posts are pretty bad. I think that Marquis played games with them before and idk meta or whatever I ask to ask them!

Notscience I've played one game before. In that specific game he defended the fuck out of a scummy player which resulted in me being mislynched day 1. That same player he defended (at the same time tunneled me for going for that player) ended up flipping scum. I'm a bit upset about that! But the thing with that game was his post style and mannerism is completely off. I'm not sure he expected our sub-in but I don't see town notscience in this game.

My reaction towards notscience was generally having an off vibe with his posts, not acting the way I've expected him to act. His defense was "oh but you only played one game with me." Err, so fucking what? It's more of an attitude tell where he just denies the meta read and conveniently ducks out of accusation with non-genuine jabs like this.

My read on GiF is like every other stance I have on any other games. Basically, if notscience were scum he could've possibly commuted during the first night because we were obviously going to hide behind him (to prevent our death flip from immediately incriminating him). Second day completely punches a hole in this theory though, had he commuted for our second hide on him we would've died, and they'd immediately win by majority. So either he completely missed the opportunity to win the game or he's just town. Unfortunately I don't thin he's the type to slip up like that as scum so I'm assuming the latter.

Ghato's immediate push on notscience seems as if he's going to work with our tunneling to just flat out end the game.

I'm playing to the mechanics as I see fit, not how you want to vanilla it. I'd prefer taking it from my theory rather than going balls deep into vanilla because from my point of view I can see a 2/3 chance of lynching scum just due to mechanics and that sounds swell to me. Also you're completely missing the point of the theme. There is a reason that this isn't vanilla, and that's because we're given a tool that may or may not benefit the town from using it. In this situation, we used it both nights on notscience so that our flip would speak louder than our case.

I'd like to assume that given the nature of the game, scum were given the option of commuting as a tool to pressure hiders with WIFOM. That pressure is being applied by Penguin now.

If we analyze her recent posts, she feels that Ghato is strong town and believes that there is scum between notscience and our hydra. If you're going to PoE this, then that would leave Varsoon as her out as a scumpartner. Why is she not pressure Varsoon?

because, early in the day Marquis and I were about ready to speculate that notscience was scum who commuted twice because we've been on them twice and him not commuting after our tunneling would immediately implicate him as scum. We liked this theory, we liked it a lot. Except Marquis is an inactive shit and apparently we weren;t in MyLo, we were in LyLo. Meaning our death would put is in LyLo if notscience commuted.
