After years of organized crime syndicates tormenting local villages with infiltrators and saboteurs, the people are finally fighting back; the Mob has gotten word of a few pesky rats of their own. General

I.

This is a game. Play to win, and don't ruin it for others.

Posting and Voting

I.

I hereby reserve the colours

for mod use. Don't use them.

II.

All votes must be written in

bold

or use the VOTE: tag. Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.

III.

All votes must be at the beginning of a new line and cannot be contained inside quote, code, area, or spoiler tags.

IV.

A lynch is reached when a majority of all players (half plus one) are voting for the same target.

V.

If a majority is not reached by the deadline, a No Lynch will occur.

Activity and Deadlines

I.

Failure to post within 48 hours without advance notice will result in a prod.

II.

You have 24 hours to respond to a prod, lest you be replaced. Regardless, three prods will result in a force-replacement.

III.

Please give notice of extended leave in-thread or via PM.

IV.

Each Day phase will last two weeks (14 days) and each Night will last 48 hours.

V.

Extensions will be given in case of replacements.

This game uses an Open setup with the following roles.

In addition, the following rules are in effect.

VERY IMPORTANT.

• This game uses a Day Start.

• The Mafia's factional kill takes place in-thread during the day and is determined by a majority vote.
  
• Town members may participate in this vote because the Mafia are uninformed of each other.
  
• The Masons' vig-shot is a factional kill. There is only one kill during the Night.

"Hey boss. We think we found a rat. Check this one's files." The suspected traitor is tossed towards the crime kingpin. His bodyguards immediately seize him.
"Files? Oh, what a bore," the boss says with a smug grin. At the snap of the Don's fingers, one of the bodyguards knowingly drags the captive towards the door.
"No! Wait! I can explain!" cries the doomed man. The bodyguard doesn't even flinch. His eyes are fixated on the door to the makeshift execution chamber. Realizing his life is over, Ki-Gi manages to release himself from the bodyguard's grasp and seize his weapon, which he points towards the boss. All the handguns in the room are drawn and turned on him. The traitor hesitates briefly, then with a mighty cry, turns his stolen pistol on himself and pulls the trigger.

After the gory scene the previous day, security in the headquarters was doubled. The hunt was on for the alleged partner of the now dead traitor. Each mafioso had their own suspicions. Some chose to follow their suspects, others chose to barricade them in their own rooms overnight.
"You can't hold me here! I'm one of you!" cried one of the accused turncoats desperately as he thrashed about trying to escape his makeshift prison. A shot rang out. The yelling turned to screaming, and the guards smiled as they pointed their handguns at the flailing prisoner. Soon the room was swarmed by other members of the mafia, weapons in hand. A volley of shots was fired at BlueBloodedToffee. His nearly unrecognizable body lay in a pool of dark blood. They searched his room and found documents in a hidden compartment detailing a mob infiltration operation. The second traitor had been found.

Good game, everybody. 36 pages is quite a bit for a two-day-long micro. I must say that as a mod, I was super impressed by the activity levels. Thank you all for playing! Feedback regarding my modding or the setup is always appreciated.

Good job mafia, and good job to the masons for surviving 36 pages against a solid mafia play. Bins had the mason team called in the Hydra QT by the time the game was on page 4, so as an important power role, I kinda knew where this game was going.
