Well, let's hope I don't die early. I don't even get a cool nickname...

@Reckoner: We can't send 3-4 groups, because we only have 9 chances to make groups. Yes, we lose a person at the end of the day, but using a half of our possible rooms on N1 might not be so good an idea.

I think we should send two four-person groups tonight. Don't know who will be in what group, but it would allow everyone to be in a group, and not use up a half of our available rooms.

VOTE: Reckoner

PEDIT: ThirtyFour said the same thing that I just did...

PEDIT-2: I didn't think of it that way, Reckoner...
UNVOTE: Reckoner

Also, based on the mod's response, I think we should adjust the room votes after someone voices the intent to hammer. Do NOT hammer someone before we change the group(s) that that is in.

Reckoner, you were the person that I saw as the most scummy, and I kinda missed the chance to make a random vote, possibly voting myself.

At first, I saw you as trying to use up all the doors as soon as possible. I still think that three groups is too many, but after you posted your reasoning, I lost my reason to be voting you. Still in the beginning of the game, but this game is already interesting.

I have a question for everyone: How should we group people into doors? Randomly, or not randomly?

PEDIT: I think I answered what you addressed in this post, but just to clarify: I didn't unvote because he questioned my vote. He couldn't even have responded to my vote, considering I unvoted in the same post.

I agree on the stupid question part, but it was a stupid question that needed to be asked. It was clear some people wanted random groups, and others wanted non-random. Personally, I think that non-random groups would yield the most, and allow us to prepare for the future by using doors that would be most likely to be closed.

Aggression isn't always a nulltell. It also depends on the situation, and who is being aggressive to whom. I agree, this early on aggression is probably null, but it isn't always.

Also, 34, please don't leave. I honestly thought you were town... mostly. Anyways, if you feel you need to replace out, then do, and don't detract on your experience of mafia or ours. But if you have even the smallest bit of wanting to stay in, then please do. If you

When I posted that, I was thinking Parama, but then I re-read the game, and his intentions seemed town, as well as 34's, and Flame's. Reckoner, on the other hand, started seeming more scummy. It's a mild gut read, but his posts just seem off. Also, I tend don't want to vote on people that I'm not sure that I want to vote for. I'd rather keep my vote on a strong read for a while than keep switching it between weak reads. That way my vote holds more meaning, both as a pressure tool and as a show of how much I'm suspicious of someone.

Sorry, real life caught up to me. I don't think that meta is needed to make a decision on a person when that person has been acting the same way since the beginning of the game.

I'd be all for the putting Reck in a room with the two towniest people, except that that leaves a lynch for today.
I think Grib is town. He's contributing with things that make sense, progress the game, and help town.
Parama is null-town. Bins is null-scum. Akane is town. I have reasons.

Explain your scumread on me.

I'm pretty sure it was a mix of an OMGUS read on you and PoE. Really bad PoE (like horribly, mind-bogglingly bad), but it was the best I had. I don't have the same reads as then, but I still feel Reck is probably scum, and yonce is a wildcard.

He wants to be able to attack your meta, I'm guessing.

Bins, the only thing that I've seen that hasn't been posted and disputed a hundred times over is rule seven of the game-specific rules, where it says that players outside of a room don't get a special chat. I'm guessing this means the same with powers and other abilities that might be introduced later on. I remember it being discussed earlier that maybe "waiting outside in the hallway" counts as another, free room for abilities, but I think that this is unlikely.

Also, this will probably be shot down, but has anyone thought about an Akane/Reck scumteam? Is it possible that scum has daychat?

I completely agree with this. Until tonight, we probably won't know any more about the mechanics than we do right now. We should find some real scumreads, using interactions and other well-founded tactics instead of guesses at mechanics and weak PoE. Also, Reck, I still think you might be scum, but most of the read was from your rage, and it was more of an anti-town read than a scum read.

Currently, my strongest idea of a scumteam would be Parama and Quillford, strongest being relative. Quillford's my strongest scum read, but Parama is the only person I could think of to pair with him, except for maybe Bins or Grib. Reasoning for this ispost 360, where he deflects Akane's vote from Quill to me. This is possibly partly me just not wanting to be voted, but it's the strongest rthing I could find to pair someone with Quill.

Well, somehow my actual scum read became at least a null-scum read, while my PoE read became the main scum read.
UNVOTE: Quilford

I still think Grib is probably town, but the points Parama are attacking him with just don't make sense to me, based on how they have both played up until now. Quil might still be scum, but it's nowhere near as likely as I had thought.

I know I'm not posting as much as any of want me to, but when I post, none of you are posting, and when you are posting, I'm not near a computer, recently.

I said in my post that Parama is my main scum read. However, he's not scummy enough to warrant a vote in my mind.
The exchange between Parama and Quil about Quil still wanting to vote Reck made me think that both were less likely to be scum, and much less likely to be a scumteam. Then again, that started only after I posted my thoughts on them being a possible scumteam.

I was going to replace out of this game, but I wouldn't really want to put a replacement at L-1. My reads are broken, and I'm not really contributing to the game. Lynching me, a vanilla townie, would be shortening the game, but I agree that I am one of the better people to lynch right now. I still stand that Parama should be lynched, but I really can't make a case against him that would overshadow my own wagon. I'm not going to self-hammer, because that is stupid. I might as well:

VOTE: parama

But I guess this is the price of being a student.
