i expected him to be paranoid of me. that's typical. but with him it's more of an aura of paranoia/suspicion that slowly gets sorted one way or the other as we go along.

instead, he starts the day immediately with an unexplained vote, despite being all about lynching you or bert in pre-dance. my experience of him is that as town, he looks for town first. i dont really see that here, at least not yet. his first choice of action was to hardcore push me.

he even has a case ready to go. that tells me that he and mollie were in the neighborhood devising this case on me. that's not something anti would do. that's something mollie would do. all of those points are things mollie would say and point to and think make me scum, even though she's wrong. and that's why i'm saying i dont want to deal with it because that's what she does and that's what frustrates me. she gets an idea about something and pushes it into the ground whether it's right or not.

instead of asking me why i wasn't involved yesterday, or asking me why i didn't give a shit about his bert or ceph reads during pre-dance, he instantly jumps to the idea that it must mean i'm scum. it's not like he doesn't know what kind of shit week i had last week. it's not like he doesn't know what i did this weekend. we are very good friends, and actually, mollie knows too because i told her what was going on. its not game related but it's important here because it affected my motivation to be involved in anything this past weekend. they both know that but conveniently disregarded it, AND without bothering to ask me what's up. that's frustrating, and i'm not going down that road.

then bert/flubber: i'm no bert expert. gut does say town. he's here actively sorting things out. his vote is wrong, but that's ok. i believe very strongly that flubber is scum though. so there's 1.

bpc/ceph: ceph is a strong townread right now. bpc, not so much. bert pointed out that the ladies' motivation is to stay in the dance, but the gentleman's isn't. which made me start thinking about what the gentlemen's motivations actually are - for scum, that'd be to pair optimally. the moment ceph gave bpc an out, he took it, before pine ever even posted. and then on pressure, he backpedalled. between flubber/bpc, equal scumreads, which also kind of reinforces the fact that flubber is sniping at ceph without actually voting him.

then me/flames. i know i'm town, i have no clue about flames because he hasn't said anything. however, if we're wrong about one of the above (flubber/bpc), then the last is definitely flames.

in terms of working it out, the order doesn't matter, because you're not getting lynched, anti/mollie. so why not get rid of my pair first - an unreadable lurker, and a paranoia-machine, then work from there. even if flames is town, then you know exactly where to look. the end, game over, town win.

I don't know but I don't think he could fool her. she caught him right away in the last game and he had me bamboozled for a while. they are close friends so I'd trust both to read the other with more accuracy than some others.

and I have not had enough correct reads on her to have a set of "things to look for to read mollie". i play by gut most of the time and try to articulate what gave me the gut read. which I'm bad at but I do well answering questions about it.

I don't have accurate mollie meta. if I've been right in the past I thoroughly believe it was luck. anti will be a better gauge of her here.

Also re: scum dancing together: it's pretty ballsy but not a bad move IMO. It depends on the playerlist and how you want to play it. Disorganized scum wouldn't discuss it enough and would end up with others; organized scum would talk about it and come to a deciion but I feel both choices are solid

I think flame is beyond town at this point but you are confusing the signal. what were you doing with anti? you know he will cover himself in a self-recrimination blanket if he is wrong about you. so why do that if you are town? that is what is throwing me off about you otherwise I wld say jihad on cephrir/bpc.

mollie i am honestly not trying to do anything to him. you took what i said as smearing, which wasn't how i saw it, and certainly not how i intended it. he said something that i felt needed to be addressed, and it's not like we - all of us - aren't capable of saying things with a particular flavor despite intentions, the same way you perceived what i said to him.

you know my general level of activity is independent of alignment. our pt is dead because flames is either a terrible conversationalist or deciding not to talk. in my summary on the last page, you can see that i asked him two questions, both of which he completely ignored and didn't answer, AND didn't return to me. he wasn't interested at all in me.

i dont know why you think flames is "beyond town" when you (or maybe it was anti) was giving someone else shit for fluffing in the game thread.

it doesn't make sense. not to mention the fact that anti is scumreading me, and i dont realy know why, because he's always been good at getting me despite paranoia. well, actually, i kind of know why, and it's probably due to my lack of effort here. i said it in pre-dance or shortly after - sometimes i just dont feel like it, and i've been pretty honest about that this whole time. i just dont feel like it. you and anti are a great team and you're sharing a pt which, if you're both town, should make you very strong - and i am perfectly okay with letting the two of you run the show this time. i really wish that was ok.

ffery does this to me sometimes too (or maybe i'm mixing people up, but i'm pretty sure it's her), she'll prod me and vote me and ask me why i'm not doing anything. because sometimes i just dont want to. i wish you guys understood that.

reads... flubber is scum. i thought bpc was scum but his reactions to you make me question it. he seems really sensitive to some of the things you are saying and i dont know that scum would take things so personally to be honest. as scum you're kind of removed from the game because you know more of what's going on than others do. i don't know if that applies to all players but it's a general condition. i've had ceph as a townread and thinking i should trust his read of bpc to be honest. which brings me to flames, who's done literally nothing but disappoint me.
