I'm not wanting to stop the fluff now. It's okay to be lighthearted in the beginning, but I mean we don't really need to wade through 5 pages of fluff, ya'know? Plus I kinda like to go into :serious mood: early because it actually helps me hunt better/faster rather than staying in fluff/RVS mode for a long period of time.

Soren here. Initial thoughts, trying to work out what Titus wishes to accomplish with her 11, and besides that she's been character fishing, but everyone seems to be doing that too.
Brownie points to Elyse for questioning Jeanne's 44. Jeanne's reaction was poor and fits her reason within a bunch of defensive questions in her 80
Kinda to curious to see what RC's reaction have been during that stage but I guess he wasn't online.

I'd rather not see fluff from Starbuck, at least get us some coffee on the house.

The initial posting of Suzune is her responding to Titus' questions and even required a prod from Titus to get Suzune to ask some of her own questions. Shows a lack of independence from her. However I liked how she started to put her foot down and began to make her own inquiry. As she says "Personally I am having fun, but I realise it is helps not the cause." in her 64. Which lead to her 66 which shows independent thinking in the game and wanting to work something out.

It is. It's given me Jeanne town, you prob town (but you not doing anything but complain is having me doubt), Suzune lean town, TTH on sort fast list.

When here's the thing. The way you are going about it feels like one giant distraction from scum-hunting. If it was role-related why not just say "hey guys my role needs us to flavor claim. If we can do that it would be great". Instead you turned something that was easily 1-2 pages max into something that's going to be 8 pages or more.

That's what I'm complaining about^. You're leading the town which is something regardless of alignment that you do. I mean why don't you just try to herd the town with a less chaotic approach...?

You did give reads. Your original reads consisted of our slot being town, then because I complained about how Titus' was adding to the fluff with her flavor claim fishing. I went against the fluffyness of the game and wanted it to move even further and get it out of that stage you decided to scum read me for it.

I just didn't like what Titus was doing when there was a much more simpler way to go about it.

Remember when I made a case in Suikoden against LQ? RR dismissed it and when it turned out to be true, he dismissed it again as luck. I have a feeling you're going to do the same.

Doesn't matter if your reads end up being true or not. What matters is the read itself, if it made coherent sense and had something important to tell us about their alignment. Calling someone scum over trivial reasons and them being scum turns out to be true adds little to no value to your read. It's the way you go about your read/case, whether or not you provided something that made logical sense which in turn makes people see what you see.

I know and met Mala offline. I like her as a person. She's as close to being a sister to me without being a sister. I am going to be concerned with her wellbeing. If I thought she was scum, I would go after her but I don't.

TBH Titus, I'd rather lynch FJ then Fire. For two reasons actually;

1. I really want to think you're town, but I feel like paranoia will eat me again this game. last time I let you guide me onto a lynch you diverted me off your scum partner and onto a shiny mislynch. So I'm scared that's what you could be doing again and honestly if that's the case I'm jut going to be so pissed at myself.

2. Mainly because I really can't stand FJ's tunnel, noise and they are really just a big distraction at this point.

TTH is my strongest town read in this game. This is largely based on her 623 and 744. If there is ever a good read list, this is it. Aside from being wooed by her elegant writing, her reads shows a level of analysis that brings new light on the matter and makes sense. This rings town because a read list from scum would read so much more fabricated. Now her 744 I find to be particularly town and imo way better handled than the coaching Titus has been doing to Jeanne. TTH highlighted the issue extremely clearly, and suggested a way to improve. For me this is town motivated, because TTH reads Jeanne town and wants to calm the bull so that town can go back to catching scum instead of getting shrouded with all this noise.

Fire still dodges the game. But he's on VLA now, I can focus on him when he comes back.

I want to focus on Suzune a little bit, she's always a mystery to me and the quicker I can work her out the faster I can put myself at ease with her. I find it odd that she's been sitting on her RVS vote the entire game and only unvoted recently. She scum read Jeanne in her 315 and this remains consistent as explained in her 598 and 745. FJ is somewhere between null and scum and FB is slight scum lean. It's really hard for me to town read FJ when that slot is generating a lot of noise and Jeanne's scum read on Titus feels very omgussy. Doesn't want to build a case against CuddlyKitteh/Mala because scum will be cautious and hide among town reads very lazy. And I'm also getting the feeling that Jeanne wanted to scum read Mala based on their pre game interactions and having a general dislikeness towards Mala leading Jeanne to keep calling Mala a he even when Mala has been telling her to stop. It's very childish and is preventing me from clearly reading the slot. I said that I'll be ignoring what Jeanne is posting and focus on what the other head is posting instead, but frankly Jeanne's noise is overwhelming the other head's thoughts.

I've already gave my thoughts on fire and his recent 780 is strengthening my scum read on him. It's something I see scum who doesn't really know how to place themselves in the game do, they pop in with a few reads that doesn't have much content in them which gives an impression that he's trying to work the game out but at the same time isn't interacting with other players. Honestly, my problem with RVS votes is I tend to let them sit for a while. This is one of the main reasons that I do not vote often or change vote often. Sometimes I get lucky and do not need to change my rvs vote. Most of the time I do. I realised that obviously it was a terrible vote because I was townreading TTH. When someone else unvoted it jogged my memory that I needed to do that too.

I want to lynch Jeanne, however I have become so bias over it. She is annoying me and as much as I want her gone, and I could come up with many reasons I think she is scummy. The heart of the reason is that I want her gone, and I would do anything to find scum in her actions. Therefore, my frustration leads me to not want to vote because it is not coming from a terribly evidence driven study but a emotional one. I was doing better with it yesterday noticing the defensiveness and the inability to see the town as allies and when I can get a little time I might go back and make a case for it. However, at the current moment without clearing my thoughts and seeing it objectively I cannot. Soon though, very soon.

I'm not sure I quite get the Suzune scum reads. I think I'm still very much townreading that slot. She was very apologetic and very cautious about posting certain things and here I'm not really seeing that in her ISO.

I'd be okay with a Starbuck lynch as the self-vote kinda killed whatever I felt good about her. Plus commenting on the NK as she did. Also the logic of " this is what scum want you to think" bugs me more than usual. :\

TTH's comment re: her role being blocked and RC's ability block is kinda interesting, but the reason why I don't think they are related which makes me think either RC is lying about his role or TTH has some type of modifier on her that she's either not aware or not giving us. (which I don't think is the case re: TTH).

I wouldn't mind a FJ lynch as the way they went about self-watcher role is kinda mind boggling. I had actually thought during D1 that FJ could very well be FB's scum partner because if town is stacked then a self-watcher being mafia role is pretty decent, but with a mafia tracker flipping I'm not 100 sold on my theory anymore.

I'm not really sure what to make of elyse atm, but I don't really think she's worth lynching.

Alright christmas is dying down and I'm starting to get a bit more time to check the game. So we've had a mass claim and everyone's role is on the table for inspection. My lynch pool is within Starbuck and Suzune. Starbuck claiming VT first and then moving onto vengeful townie, why? I can only see this as scum being hesitant with their fake claim. She wanted to see how people would react to a "VT/Vanilla townie" claim and if they were not happy she would fall back on a vengeful townie claim.
I'm also interested in a Suzune lynch because of her cautiousness on day 1. The reluctance to vote for FJ despite having much to say about them being scum and then falling towards sheeping near the end of the day. This tells me a tremendous amount about her alignment, and the play makes sense to come from scum!Suzune. I'm not liking these string of posts from Suzune, 1286, 1287 and 1324. The first being a very reactionary post towards being put on the lynch table, leading her to forget about starbucks in that list only to comment on that in the second post. Then she attempts to work out what to do from here and commits further to wanting to lynch Starbuck, but again, just like day 1, does not vote for her scum read. Why? This is really telling of Suzune's alignment. Suzune then falls back to two lines of defenses, "i am not scum though" and her role claim, which she quite happily sits on. Which for the record, does nothing to make me assume she is town.
