Lynching in the neighborhood indicates that the neighborhood players don't have faith in their night play IMO.

Standard play with neighborhoods d1 is to lynch outside the neighborhood and attempt to discern scum during the night via night talk.

And that was my thought also regarding the hoods. I feel like it'd be quite easy to pick the scum with the right conversation. Of course there's always the what to reveal/what not to reveal in that situation, and perhaps the people involved felt a bit more guarded due to their roles. Find out later I guess.

And I'll see how long I can stay spoiler free. I may come asking for the answers though hah.

But shit. What a day 1. I really find it quite interesting how stalled my lynch became. Vi hopped off at an interesting point, but it's hard to ping him for that when Sala did the much the same later and I'm pretty sure of a town read, there. My radar is all screwy due to this being my first game here, and being so heavily targeted straight up haha. I'm fighting through the butthurt.

there are actually three neighborhoods in this game.

I'm surprised that the members of the third neighborhood didn't out themselves when the other neighborhoods were revealed.

The existence of the third neighborhood makes it much more likely that there might be an all-town neighborhood.

RE: 3 hoods - I'm kinda not surprised but I am. With the amount of players involved it kinda makes sense.

If there were 2 hoods, finding scum in one would probably make the other hood think they are cleared. By having 3 hoods, you keep em guessing.

RE: number of scum, I'd go with 4/5 since there isn't a 3rd party as stated. At least one in a Hood. You've got some interesting balances and whatnot with the on-thread activations and whatnot so I'm clueless as to what the PR's will actually turn out to be. I just want it to be day again already so I can see what happens O/night.

Yeah I think I'm more used to factions being pretty OP. IE more powers rather than less. My old haunts used to be quite far removed from a vanilla/normal game - most everything would come under the theme banner if played here.

And oh. Sneaky mafias. Chatting and such. Answering that question probably would have sent me to an earlier grave then haha.

Quite a fun game you've got going on though. I honestly didn't think I'd last as long as I did after the wagon built as it did, that's for sure. I think everyone just got tired of listening to me and realized the town wouldn't be overly swayed if they weren't already. Quite the lazy end of the day, not that I'm blaming anyone really. Basically had to happen. If I wasn't hammered I'd have been up for it basically every day until I died.
