Lynching in the neighborhood indicates that the neighborhood players don't have faith in their night play IMO.

Standard play with neighborhoods d1 is to lynch outside the neighborhood and attempt to discern scum during the night via night talk.

It was also from this moment forth that Alice discovered how to control her imagination, bringing light to this gloomy place. She began looking forward to slumbering off each night, eager for the adventures that awaited. Squack and Quack would take Alice on their back, exploring what soon became a most wondrous world. They would frolic in the streams together, play hide and seek in the giant flower fields, or lie on the grassy plains, watching as the clouds drifted by. Sigh.

I'll never yell at a mod about his setup while I'm still alive in his game.

I don't want anyone else to go through what I'm going through.

This setup is probably the best setup I've wrote to this date, balance and expected player satisfaction-wise. I wouldn't have invited Vi to play unless I was absolutely confident in this game. I spent a ton of time in setup design and balance, not to mention the time I spent on experimenting with formatting and fonts to make sure every little detail about the game was

perfect

. I know that the living players simply misunderstood a post, and because of this misunderstanding, the players think that I maliciously designed the setup and included things like Framer + Insane Cop.

I'm sure they will apologize once the game is over and the full setup is revealed, but all this slander against my setup really hurts. I wish I could just tell them what's going on, but I know I cannot.

This wasn't how this game was supposed to go. I hate to say it, but post game can't come soon enough.

Until then, I won't fail in my duties as a mod.

While I certainly could point out endless things town did wrong, I don't think people who played badly will not take kindly when someone points out their mistakes.

...wow, this endgame meltdown might actually qualify as epic. Everyone's just grabbing at straws.

Apparently when one plays like garbage and town is in shambles, one is supposed to blame the mod/setup first.

i mean beloved princess that triggers off night kills, you have to (a) not get night killed, (b) not get lynched, and (c) not get investigated by a scum PR ORRRRRRRRRRRRR you fuck town over sooner or later (the later the worse, town got somewhat lucky he died N1 instead of, say, last night)

But I like the role! Enough to run it once in awhile, anyways. (I was a Beloved Princess in the 2nd Large Theme game I've played here, and I had a very good time)

It's balanced against meticulously in this setup though, with biggest counterbalance being that there are only 3 scum members.

I have been that player that just poops on the mod during game. I also mod spec a lot. :/ seeing your discomfort with it has made me second guess all of my previous play on that ground.

The problem is that I didn't have meaningful results at the time I really would have liked them, and I failed to crumb -that-.

I suppose I could have just accepted the NK and fully claimed at the time but I was kind of hoping to live through the night in spite of things.

It is still a neat Cop variation, though it's one that punishes the Cop dying early. Normally you'd rather the Cop got one or two results early than a full Cop after two results come in.

You got really unlucky. (you got rolecopped n1, on top of that, it's an odd-night role cop... what are the chances???)

Scum were incredibly lucky with their night actions in n1.

I don't know why the Rolecop claim wasn't met with immediate suspicion given that 90% of all role cops are scum.

It's actually because nati committed a cardinal sin at the beginning of the game, when she decided to treat her neighbor as a mason.
