well put it like this they know who's scum and who's town so they know when what they're saying is the truth or not. They can't not know this so they subconciously support their real reads with some bits of tmi and fake believing their fake reads. they can't really perfectly hide that they don't know anything I think thats how scum slip anyway and how town catch them.

You're probably talking about the "Hi I'm scum" slips. I'm talking about slips that gave off that they have information that town doesn't know. It won't be that obvious but I think they will always slip that they have info it's just a matter of how good they are at hiding it.
