to all: how were the strategic moves you made what got you here as opposed to the strategic moves made by others?
I kept my idol to myself until I was going to try to use it to mask Entreri and my flipping back and forth by idoling the Discord alliance's target at the Final Eight. Unfortunately, Pine didn't let us transfer idols to folks, so it wasn't going to be a good call. But the decision on what to do with the idol (when the rules were unclear) was something I debated a lot over. The early votes were a lot of different clusters, and Entreri and I separately took pains to stay connected to different people as we watched which groups would form. But your point is valid--Entreri and I were certainly working strategically together. It would be tough to fully extricate our games from each other.

I have no odea which of you two did it better.
Tbh I'm quite impressed with IPS's play this game and I'm probably voting him unless one of you stick out by the end.
But we're not clones. We're twins, but one is slightly taller and more attractive. Our games are virtually identical, but mine is better. There is a differentiating factor here that I got him here. He goes home if not for me at the endgame every time. I was secure. I had set him up as the bigger threat and the bigger flip target.
I had IPS and menno convinced I was still on their side up until the very end. IPS thought I was going to take him to FTC if I won.
@All: What was the biggest mistake you made this game and how/why?
I could have stayed in the shadows on the Chemist vote, I guess? It would have resulted in only one of me and Entreri making it here, at the very least. But my goal was for us to get here, so I don't count that a mistake. I wish I would have given you more of a heads-up on his vote, which I could have done, since I had the idol.
Ircher: well for one trusting Ent twice in a row at the end of the game which nearly bit me in the ass, lol. Another massive mistake I made was not keeping up with the site chat people which put me as a consistent target early on.

monty: why me and not fluminator? did you and flum coordinate that?
I want an answer on this monty
Sorry about that! Basically, you were a bigger threat--we wouldn't have been able to get people to go after you in a future round, where we could get folks to realize that Flum was a threat. Honestly, if I didn't take you out there, you'd be sitting here answering questions imo.
@All: What was the biggest mistake you made this game and how/why?
in case you missed it from the page turning
Seems like it was bringing monty to FTC. I thought people would agree that me saving him in the endgame was a bigger deal than it actually was. I guess I shoulda let him die at f5.
entreri and monty: how would you say the division of labour worked out in your F2? why?
Oh, man, it's really tough to say. We both found an idol, both won an immunity--I think Entreri was better at doing things behind the scenes, where I could be more out in front, drawing votes/attention, knowing that we had the resources to take out votes in our way.
to all: how were the strategic moves you made what got you here as opposed to the strategic moves made by others?
Specifically for me and Monty, we had a very similar strategic game. The main difference in our play was how well I managed to hide my maneuvering. I don't think monty knew he was the surefire vote after Flum went home, or else he wouldn't have agreed to vote flum when he did.
Monty put himself in a position where he needed to be saved, and I didn't.

entreri: how do you reconcile (1) he's the bigger threat and (2) I should bring him to the endgame?
why was it better to bring him than just eliminate him? especially when you'd cooperated on so much and clearly people were going to share credit between both of you?
why did you play the way you did, and what benefits did it bring you
I played the way I did because I didn't want to leave anything on the table. I played out in front, played an idol on myself against a unanimous vote, had an idol played on me in a crucial moment, and went with my F2 partner from the first few minutes of this game to the end. I can't ask for anything more--except maybe your vote.

or more concisely my last question would be: SO YOU KNEW HE WAS A BIG THREAT WHY DID YOU SAVE HIM?

Chemist: I played the way I did because it enabled me to survive all the chaos and shit going on. By playing a more follower type game I was able to keep the big threat target off of me that players like Monty and Flum had

No matter what happens, once again, folks, I've had a blast this game. Thanks for everything, especially to Pine and Xof for getting it together last minute, and Entreri and IPS, y'all are pretty dope too.
mod can delete it if I can't say that, but I believe we're allowed to call on who we think did the best game, and I think that playing out front and taking the risks is much more commendable especially if you STILL manage to convince someone who should know you're a thread to bring you to FTC with them
