I don’t know how you are trying to discern who is playing like a CL on day 1 where there is literally nothing separating the CL from his other scum buddy. They are both in the same boat atm.

CL is the one that can convert so logically speaking their buddy would be more inclined to be the one eliminated over their CL.

Disagree, there's definite incentive d1 for the two cult roles to behave differently. A cultist can be sacrificed but losing the leader d1 would be pretty rough.

the risk of CL dying is so high for the mediocre return that wifom is just simply not worth it, it should be such a low percentage of the time for cultstrat

i just finished a game with town!Battle Mage and it seems he is playing pretty differently this game, last game he just deathtunneled a townie and made tons of jokes while his posting looks more safe and potential CL-like in this game. ill keep my vote where it is.
