i don't like how people were supporting/jokingly supporting the early gladiate idea rather than just shutting it down.

doing that removes a lot of area for discussion which can be had when there's the possibility of a different fade

wait, i actually think it's a bad idea if you do that because obviously whoever you gladiate goes down unless you gladiate someone really towny or cool, in which case we probably just have a tvt gladiate.
