I thought so; the use of estaDistica instead of staTistics kinda gave that away which was interesting.

regardless, I don't think I've moved the goalpost, because both of what you said I think is still true and in fact they complement each other

regardless I'm just gonna take the worst's advice on this
it's slightly significant if you compare to the average frequency of all slots to be scum.

but why not compare the trios - 6/39 (~15%) to the singletons - 20/67 (~30%).

that's pretty saucy.

It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!

oh i wasn't really townreading it, more just stating that her effort is more interesting than the dotted t's and crossed i's of the analysis so far.
but this is a fairly neat observation. i'm not really sure hoops does anything different as scum though really? i don't know her super well. i can understand why this is a positive observation fypov

i'm not sure about that conclusion because in a world where it's scum!hoopla, he'd be making this argument in case scum have in fact doubled up.

the more i think on it, the more i think we need to shelve this conversation

stuff i will say
- i was aware it had been done either zero or one time (memory fog but u did my homework for me ty)
- scum have >rand draft & massclaim info and there are some very spicy analytical strats they can undertake which i will Not be going into
- this variation of pypx/y is like, less protown to massclaim than the other one

and the rest you'll have to guess <3

no, i actually want to know.

as far as i can tell, the only reason to tank your team's picks as scum is if you're concerned about number analysis and want to subvert it.

the impression i get from your posting is that you don't think the numbers are relevant, so why bother subverting what you don't believe in?

to me, it seems more likely your claim of "i'd consider pairing numbers as scum", is some casual shade intended to cast doubt on said numbers.

~~

i just finished my post as you posted. in the interest of transparency, i'm going to post anyways it since it shows why i asked you this, but i believe my characterisation of your thought process may be wrong on first glance..

i mean, at a personality level: because i know the numbers analysis happens. i also know i'd be screaming about this regardless of my alignment which is subversive on a second level.

there's also like ~other benefits~ which i really will not be going into while i'm in the middle of a pypx/y game, especially given my stupid dumb town role pm

lets transition this conversation into something less theoretical;

i quite like cray grayson for town. i am quite enjoying ddl's brain thoughts and am leaning town superficially. whoevere made that 3d call on gypyx was pretty astute as well, at some conscience/mindset level he's probably towntold a little.
i don't really care about the clover townreads. i like grumpy cat's posting a whole bunch and their odds of being town a liiiittle bit more than rand. i thought they were kinda pockety at first. but eeehhh. i think they're just kinda cute.
despite my original joke datisi is a fairly easy read via fluidity of thought process and like i'd call him uhhh trending town.
iconeum hasn't really struck me yet, i think he's getting wound up.
marquis and umlaut Underwhelm
username made my skin crawl
ottomh i don't really think ss has done anything dramatically ai yet. his posting is fairly fluid which is a towntell, but he also hasn't spoken about anything that's particularly hard to talk about as scum yet. so who knows~~

you & word i'm not really sure yet. actually i like ss' analysis on your alignment slightly for him but i'm not really sure i bow to it. if word's posting was coming from another type of player i might have kinda kneejerk pushed him but for words i'm not really sure he's in the game yet

so call cray, ddl, maybe kitty, maybe gypyx, town.
maybe datisi too?
maybe, just maybe, ss???

a part of me is tempted to just vote users but a bigger part of me just wants him to come back and talk more.
kinda same for umlaut & marquis but less Vividly

i think i'm still holding an rvs vote for marquis but i'm sure enjoying it

this is kinda eating the back of my brain
there's some validity yeah i have a hot & cold relationship with people doing mech spec in opens

i think it's healthy to have it stated, and then forgotten so people can form reads, and then bleed into analysis on more of an as-required basis
so yeah i probably shade the numerical analysis slightly-disproportionately-highly to contribute to the pressure around forcing the game to start

I think mech effort is more scum indicative than town indicative.

i think it's contextual, and not a very interesting tell to hyperfocus on => let's call it nai and move on?
