@Midway - what are your thoughts on my POE'd 5?

I think we to focus again. What makes 420's claim town to you morph? I don't remember any explanation really, and I'm probably leaning towards revoting there today. I know muffin said something about it not making sense as a role to claim from a scum perspective, but I'm not sure why that is either.

Sentimentality. The white mage in NY165 got miselimed the day that claim was made. the scum team went all out to remove her. (they thought she was the SK and that the claim was impossible - too overpowered to be an actual role. Half the town went along with that.

I didn't. And a debt to all white mages everywhere was incurred. I didn't fight the elim hard enough (maybe there was no amount of fight that would have been enough? I was arguing against scum-Angry Pidgeon).

Yeah, sentimentality, but even so, I want to think deep thoughts about this a while.

Maria doesn't do stuff like that, I don't feel.

I've been scum with Maria multiple times, and I've caught scum Maria multiple times, I just don't think that's a play they do here, alongside they could have claimed literally anything else and been fine.

Similar to Remelia, like, why even claim that at all if you're just scum? I guess Remelia could be using it to survive in a lylo situation, but still, weird setup if scum.

Regardless, at least 2 scum if Morph is town, is in that 5. I really don't see why we would ever go outside of that group of 5 today. That's a rather large POE too, I'm lightweight super annoyed people just pass it by. They're purely fact related too, so it's not even just my analysis. (there's some, I guess, like trusting Bell as town, and in turn trusting midway) but yeah, that shouldn't be an issue for you at all then, Midwaybear.

if we really want to, we can add them to the 5, making it a 6, that still leaves a 50% of all scum being in there bar Morphscum.

difference between Morph and Zmuffin for me right now, is I feel Morph is just being surface level town, and Zmuffin is acting like surface level town because it defends their position as scum.

i am half expecting april reaches lylo, "solves" the game, votes town, but the only thing april remembers about this game is that at one point he called the scum team and that makes him good at solving

i fully expect to find a similar pattern in past games from april if i could be bothered looking into them

to be fair, this will be true no matter what. I set out just a far superior net than you lot, so while I did catch scum, i still have townies in there, and I have to filter the townies out.

Surface level thinking just can't comprehend it.
