Well, it is correct, for what it is worth. Your read. Doesn't mean much right now, but yeah.In post 1396, clidd wrote:Well, I'm townreading absurdly your style, something I feel I shouldn't be.

Yes it actually is quite different if you don’t know what to look for. It’s harder to call stuff “fake content” for example, because scum can actually create real content, and scum want to solve too. That is why I don’t trust many of my reads as much as I would in a normal game. I’ve never been multiball scum either so I don’t what I’m looking for other than the knowledge that my reads could very well be shit. Maybe The Bulge can help shed some light on what it was like to play multiball scum vs normal scum vs multiball town? IdkIn post 1398, clidd wrote:Honestly, I'm lost here. It is the first time that I play a multiball and I have no idea if the fact that scum can do genuine scumhunting is distorting my reads.
Just as an example, one scumtell I thought of is that scum will tend to be more postury and maybe stick out less to appear solvy while town won’t show it as much since they are less focused on survival (until they get wagoned maybe). But I have no idea if this is a real tell for example.
Another reason I think you are town is because of the fact that you have been trying to do your normal towngame and are doing some good re-evaluations of your scumhunting style into the game. You would have to have completely faked this progression/realization as scum because you would already know how different it is the second you started bullshitting content, and I don’t think that is the approach scum!clidd goes for.
VP Baltar feels like his town self but I am still paranoid it is just his wolf self trying to find mafia and I am not sure how to distinguish what part of him is uniquely town. Datisi I felt stronger on as town, but it kind of had to do with the way he was saying things, like he wasn’t afraid to put all his true thoughts out there even if the progressions looked weird
For your MC read, I also got a towny tone towards the beginning, but if the townpings are related to “genuine solving”, I think it’s important to realize that is not a true multiball town ping thing
idk, just my 2 cents-

I think the general consensus was that if Titus or Klyne were mafia then the galaxii flashwagon would not have happened the way it did.In post 1372, VP Baltar wrote:Oh you mean specifically mafia. You know, I'm not sure actually...I thought I had a reason for ruling that out, but I don't remember now. I probably need to do some rereading to recall why I was thinking she could only be a wolf-

in brassherald's Masons&monks my basic mindset/strategy wasn't really any different from any other scumgame; I simply pretended to be town. it just happens to be a lot easier to do that in multiball because you're only pretending toIn post 1405, innocentvillager wrote:

I think it was a set of things.
I believe that rereading his iso with the knowledge that the things I saw as towny were superficial, the final figure is very different from what I had captured previously.-

It was probably because I ignored the fact that scum can be genuine in scumhunting. I imagined that the cognitive burden of being scum was independent of that. But now I'm having a hard time finding who is scum (considering that my scumhunting process had pointed to DV as scum, but he was town). I have no previous experience with multiballs.-
