I get where Pooky is coming from on Pizza, but while I get where he is coming from, I don't think his read is actually right because I DO get the vibe of Noraa being town here; I just feel like if Noraa were scum, the vibe from Pizza would be different.

I get where Pizza is coming from on Pooky, not for the scumread on them but more for the general activity from Pooky and the nature of Pooky's posts, but I am more and more thinking that Pooky genuinely believes he's found scum and is thus town.

Pooky is scum here. My page one play is NAI in every single way but pooky calls it scum and proceeds to push it. Pooky has not one single reason behind his read on me and I know that town pooky is better than this. I've tried to engage him but all he's done is be cagey as hell and continue to provide no reasons. If not for the fact that pooky is my friendo bear, I would've been tunneling the shit out of him by now. Pooky can fight and I've seen him fight before. I saw him duel people to their deaths in legends and pull out his persuasive skills in death curse. He is a good town player and this is not it. I wavered on my SR many times worrying about if it would get discredited and make pooky a deeper deep wolf due to me mentioning the read too early. I wanted to shelve it but I also wanted to 1v1. I couldn't decide and now here we are in the middle of no mans land doing some weird shit. I don't care about anything else and I don't know who the other scum are because everyone looks scummy as fuck but pooky is scum here and he's literally not gonna die anytime soon. I'm willing to compromise on tris because that's the only other SR we agree on but pooky is still scum one hundred and twenty percent sure.

Right this second they feel like scum to me. The reasons I've thought they could be town are all the posts where they talk about inter-hydra reads discussion. But like... that's it. And that's fakeable ('hey guys, let's talk like we're town for a bit in the discord and I'll transcribe'). Noraa isn't towntelling, MURDERCAT isn't posting, they're the two that are well known for their distinctive towngames.

So like it'd make sense if they were scum. Not super confident though

but you need to consider the actual mechanics at play in this game.

there is no agency for the town in the sense that the town does not really have any "mech" decisions to make.

when I delve into mech - it's usually into alternate win conditions.

In Among Us it was a task victory

in Tenet it was focus firing one side and using the turnstile as an extra elim.

There is no alternate victory condition here

there is no town agency in mechanical decisions.

So using "pooky isn't doing mech" to scum-case me is completely nonsensical.

Klick's vote on Flea, and the way they said it, is extremely scummy to me. It came off desperate to look active without talking about the elephant in the room.
