So I know we're being serious here for a minute but I was gonna do a whole crytyping post about how I still want DGB to go, but I don't think the joke would land.

There must be an issue in the solve or scum are bussing.

I can't say I'm thrilled that we have what I think is an 8/9 consensus on Ythan being scum (would scum bus their partner here?), but the counterwagon is still in my "eliminate these three to instantly win and receive a free toaster" group, so whatever.

I have tried looking at enchants recent posts and I can't work out who they actually think is scum

I haven't gone back to verify, but I cannot recall anyone townreading Ythan today or objecting to his place on the chopping block. At the minimum, everyone seems cool with Ythan being eliminated.

gut feeling that scum wouldnt have blundered so badly the entire game. if they are scum, they won't be allowed to live to the end game. they relly don't need to be the focus today

So you have a gut feeling that the same player plays well as scum and blunders as town?

I feel like I was pretty unclear there. It makes no sense to say a player is town because your gut feels like scum wouldn't blunder. Scum are assigned randomly and then players are gonna do what they're gonna do it's nonsensical for you to make this defense.

I'm not sure what the 2nd comment means - i read a player as town. i also say if they are not town, then by the end of the game the rest of us will make sure their play doesn't let them win?

my fear is that my reads are all wrong, scum think they can lead me on a merry dance and then eliminate me at the end of the game

you know i have no confidence in my own reads right? I know i am awful at spotting scum in mos games i play - you don't need to tell me that my reads are bad.
but to say they don't have any basis in reality - well i do set out my logic, you can disagree with my thinking but you cannot say i don't set out what my reads are and why. arguing "it is made up" - well that can be said about every read in every game....

i explicity have the read on grandpamo that scum would not have played this badly. i also say it won't impact the end result as town will not let the game end with grandpamo still around so they can be parked for a while.

The case is I haven't been sitting on the sidelines, I've actually been voting people in trying to get a read on them, and I changed my mind on Titus once I realized the wagon movement. How are the rest of you even letting an obvscum like me live.

I still don't think he's Scum, I'm still just incredibly annoyed.

This doesn't prove Ythan is Town, by the way, even if it were true (I don't remember if literally everyone expressed a scumread there). In a Scum!Ythan world, it's not implausible that Scum doesn't want to bus, but also doesn't want to risk being seen as the one persom defending their partner, so they throw a Scumread and hope the pressure shifts elsewhere.

Speaking of Ythan, I'm not... impressed with his content since returning. The only actual stance I see is the GrandpaMo vote, almost everything else can be interpreted one way or another on how he's reading other people, in my opinion. Like, I can't tell if he Scumreads geraintm or just disagrees with him.

But GrandpaMo is equally being... Scummy right now, so what do I know.
