The magic missiles fire from Cael's fingertips and shoot out towards the goblin. One hits him between the eyes, another on the shoulder, a third on the arm but all three knock him down to the ground.

You have defeated the goblins! Cassius looks a little worried as he looks around the battlefield.

"Uh. There sure were goblins in here. But. Wasn't there talk of a beast?"

The goblins don't have much on them besides shields, leather armor, and weapons. You can collect 4gp worth of coins on the lot of them but most weren't carrying anything of value.

lastly, there's a set of colored rocks sitting on the ground next to one of the cavern walls. Make a perception check.

You find 10gp, a silver locket with a picture drawn in it, and although empty, his backpack appears to be some sort of magic bag but you can't quite figure out how to use it yet, someone would need to identify it.

You don't notice anything out of the ordinary other than it's strange there are colored rocks on the ground. but perhaps someone else might notice something with a perception check
