NOT SURE IF THIS THE OPTIMAL PLAY, BUT I SOLVED GAME 3

SCUM ARE HOUSE/DUNN/RR/RCE (I promise NOT ONE is wrong). I'll even go as far as telling you that RCE is Ben, RR is Alisson, Dunn is in Reginald/Luther/Diego and House is Reginald/Luther/Diego

Note: One of Reginald/Luther/Diego is -obviously- a Mason, and I know "the player" and suspect it's Diego, but regardless.. we need not specify which player holds which anonymous alt. All wee need to do is VOTE OUT SCUM

Pros of my move:

We now have a pool of 4 to eliminate on D1. Since the D1 lim seems to have to be on the same player on all 3 games; we need to make sure they're scum in at least one game

Cons of my move:

Well, I'll be dead in Game 3. Not actually a "con" per se because (a) it gives me more time to concentrate on the other 2 games and (b) EVEN if all 4 Masons are dead the remaining 5 Townies can still win it for us.

Which brings me back to the PROS actually. If we lim outside this pool we are risking Scum potentially winning the game via killing the Masons and thus achieving parity.

Did you notice that I claimed MASON? This means I am a member of the Scum/Masons thread and I know the 8 members of the Hargreaves family (as I'm one of them).

RCE & RR both made a severe mistake by posting in said thread and the main thread almost simultaneously. RR even did it twice. If you wish to remain anonymous you need to post in the main thread at a certain time and in the anon thread on a totally different time, or -at the very least- make sure the main thread is active enough when you use the anon thread so you can't be singled out as the one and only player active at the time. (Sorry if you think it's a dirty trick, but all is fair in War and Mafia)

I won't say how I found out about House & Dunn yet, but I am still confident there too.

I am a MASON on setup 3. There are 4 Masons and 4 Scums in that setup. They ALL share one PT .. all 8 of them. Right?

Now if you login with your provided alt (if you had one, that is) and checked the PT you'd see Bingle used all accounts to do an ego post for each. These were all done on Nov 27. Yes? Now WHO posted after that (TODAY)?? Alison, Ben, Ben and Alison. Now check the time of the first Alison post and compare it to the one of RR in here (their first post where they said "FIRST"). Also compare the time of their second post (almost 18 hours later) and compare it to their pots in this thread.

Now RCE (ben) posted twice but these were 2 minutes apart. Compare the time to that of his first post in this thread. You can also look for posts before and after his in this thread to see if it could've been someone else.

As for House, the account remained unused since Nov 27 until he showed up in this thread. Only then did the "last logged in" field change to Nov 30.

Dunn was obviously the smartest of the 4. He didn't even login to his alt (yet). There are two accounts that haven't been used since Nov 27. He is one of them.

So, I caught the Scum team in setup 3 by comparing post timestamps, being around (and refreshing periodically) to notice any change in "last login" times and/or account settings.

I don't get it. Why am I Town in the other 2 games? I haven't even started playing in either (I mean, theoretically I am playing in all three, but practically I've been only focused on Game 3 and haven't posted anything AI regarding the other 2).

Also, why aren't you voting one of the 4 scums of game 3? What IS the plan here? I know you have one, but I can't imagine what it may be. If we vote anyone NOT in these 4 we are risking (a) outing another Mason on game 3, OR (b) killing a VT (which makes the game winnable to Scum by shooting all 4 Masons at once.). Killing one of these 4 ensures EVEN if they shot ALL masons the 5 VTs will win the game for us. (I obviously can't tell what is what yet in the other 2 setups machanically-wise because "not enough information")

While I do strongly think house is scum, the optimal mechanical play is to look for people in your group who re also scum in other games.

And how would I know who is scum in the other 2 games on D1?? I don't do gut reads, and I suck at reading tones. I am not exactly an expert in meta either (although I do use it, but only to an extent). My strong suit is MECHANICAL solves, AND "thinking outside the box", which is what I did. Not everyone compares timestamps and not everyone opens 7 profiles and refresh them periodically, and only closes one when they've decided who is behind the anonymous account. (It was even harder in a previous game run by Boonskies, because the 3rd game cam after the other 2 have frinished, so I had to compare login times of mains to posting times of alts AND to "writing-style" hunt. The thing is I was Scum and we could only kill a player if we guessed their main)

So, I can assure you I am an expert in alt-hunting IF (and ONLY IF) given a list of a matching number of mains. (example: 10 mains vs 10 alts). Otherwise I also suck at alt-hunting in general.

RR/House (and myself) are already dead in the Open, so voting someone who is alive in that game then voting one of us 3 locks your vote in the open to the living player and your vote in the other two is on one of RR/House/A50 (whichever you decided to vote after your voted for your intended target in the Open)

I am back and will be catching up soon, but I also have obligations elsewhere, so give me time.

My FoS on mastina was because I couldn't think of a reason for RR to say whom he shot in public. He could have done that in the alts PT to inform his comrades of it if it was true (and -in fact- it would have been smarter if scum are still hunting for the Masons).

Regarding that point, Scum knew of at least THREE players who are not masons. Possibly even four if Dunne isn't Scum. They already knew RCE was not a mason because I accused him of being Scum, and they shot 2 people that are obviously not masons either. So what are they waiting for? They're obviously trying to get the VTs (of game 3) executed in the other games, so that their shots on the Masons would make a difference.

Our counterplay should be to focus on game 3 solely for the next 48 hours and get it done withm which then leaves us enough time to solve in the other 2 games (where deadlines are 10 & 14 days for D1)

Again, my solving (of game 3) is now reliant on how smart and experienced I expect a player to be. For example (and as proven) I caught 2 scums due to them making a mistake (it certainly was not because I am gifted ). I just happen to try and think outside the box.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what I said about Dunn.

I knew two alts were not used up to a certain point. I assumed Dunn was one because he had not posted in the main thread either. I then semi-retracted that because I realized one of the Masons also didn't use their alt account.

I did not say Dunn "slipped" nor did I say he could be Mason. (How the hell would he be a Mason and I'm FoS'ing him?)

My current top suspect in game 3 is mastina. I don't have a vote on said game though. I can't control what the living players in that game do. All I can do is try to use "my best guess" on who the 2 remaining scum are based on how everything went and my own estimation of the motives behind everything that has been said.

As I said, I am taking a short break, but I need to say that Ircher is probably Town in all games based on his play in game 3.

I also think it's very unlikely someone rolled scum in all three games. Like the chances of that happening at random is 100 * 4/13 * 3/13 * 3/13 (assuming 3 scums in each of game 1 & 2) = 1.64%

Scum in game 3 had a chance of 100 * 4/13 * 3/14 = 7.1% being scum in one other game before we flipped them in game 3, so it definitely is a possibility although not too probable (not that I will lean town on any in the other 2 games, so these figures are mere theoretical calculations to keep myself in the loop).

I am still VERY sus of the mastina/House duo being paired as scum in another game, but I will lay off for now because there's a slender chance they're -say- Masons or even neighbours instead.

So far I trust Ircher and Cheeky the most alignment-wise, but only ircher reads-wise (sorry Cheeks, but I cannot let my emotions affect my professionalism)

As that's the optimal play for an obviously scum role, that means any other usage of it is suboptimal.

In fact, the usage of it on you is actually damning for you.

If the scum wanted to use the Demon Lord to kill a town player, they should've waited until a town player was at L-1 and used the demon lord then.

Using it before a player is at L-1 thus means that scum are instead opting to let the town know about it--and by having it vote you, that's wifom to dissuade people from voting you.

In other words: the vote on you from the demon lord is actually proof that you're scum.

I didn't even notice the VC on game 2 until now. I always assumed both games had the same vote count and that looking at the leading wagon on the top one was sufficient.

So, this Demon Lord.. is it and "additional" vote? Like, it effectively makes a player "hated"? I ask because you both seem familiar with it, and I wasn't at the first iteration.

That's EXACTLY the kind of thing I wanted to avoid. Like, X suspected Y for saying/doing something. They may not know it, but Y actually does this more often when they are a TPR (NOT TALKING ABOUT DWLEE IN PARTICULAR). Explaining such things during the night may tip off the Scum on particular individuals being TPRs in a particular setup.

A prime example is what Meg did (the fake claim), I knew she was most likely a VT in game 2 because of that weird claim (she never does that as scum here). Wasn't quite sure about game 1 but gave it a 50-50 chance she could be a PR (although I didn't expect her to be an important one).

What the freak is this? If you can somehow freeze your "last visit" field, why wouldn't it be the case that you di and still visited the site during that period??

I am actually not an expert in site settings, but if it showed you last visiting 2 days ago (or technically 36 hours ago) while you were posting this then you could still have posted elsewhere during those 36 hours. (If my logic is wrong please explain it to me)

I got confused about that too, but I reread and figured she means "this thread"
