Like he's discussing things as they come up but doesn't have a core thread of scumhunting, or even truly critical thinking, underneath.
So I guess basically he looks like he's coasting? Add to that the complete lack of actual scummy behavior that I can see from Gamma or Porkin', and you land at my current belief which is that Dann is scum and completely satisfied with the current gamestate.
