it wasn't really pushing them as scum

but they did have an argument that to me does not look like theatre at all and so i think the sentiment of what mastina was saying is right

this seems to be the biggest point in Johnny slot's defense and it's totally inaccessible to me. Mastina/Andante (I think?) both also made similar claims but I don't feel like I have an understanding of what she did in the non-supporter PT that seems obviously unaligned, and I need more detail than this to actually consider it seriously

arguing and bickering from rhae and indifference from dwlee is the basics of how i would describe their interactions. But dwlee was treating everyone kind of like that in the PT. I don't think dwlee interacted with rhae as teammate in pt and rhae was just fighting them in like not svs way. It was much how she handled Shea.

basically she came in to the pt with the same energy she had in the main thread, saying that everyone was ruining her fun and out to get her. the main two people that she argued with about that were first charloux and then dwlee (charloux being maria who was town)

she treated them in a similar way i think, didn't feel like she was coming at either in an informed way

dwlee shows up with their first post in the pt calling out rhae for being melodramatic and stuff, she immediately jumps on them and says that they're also out to get her and ruin her fun. dwlee then kinda backs off like whoa ive barely even talked to you don't include me in that, and she says she will anyway

reading closer, the one part that feels like it could be theatre actually is where rhae says something like, give me reasons why you're ruining my fun or ill lim you, ive already telepathically convinced people in thread to vote you (i think dwlee had a bunch of votes already at this point)

im less convinced now actually, those two posts are pretty over the top. its just hard to judge bc she seems like she's always over the top so

dwlee indifference might be wrong word. they called rhae melodramatic and then rhae said dwlee was trying to ruin her fun, and dwlee fired back with 'idk wht u talking about i haven't interacted with u at all in this game except my first post in this pt calling u melodramtic' then rhae says everyone is ruining her fun by not electing her. Dwlee is like well have i done that.

then rhae throws out accusation of dwlee being possible scumread in opposition to andante saying town, then dwlee like i can't be scum yo. Then rhae is like can anyone say that dwlee with straight face can't be scum here. (this is where mastina is saying rhae super hard pushed dwlee. Biggest pusher of all)

To me I'm less interested in the rhae part of that then the dwlee part.

Rhae acting the exact same way she was in the main thread isn't newsworthy, but dwlee was doing very little at all in the main thread. Why did they choose to pick a fight with rhae in particular?

Dwlee is pretty smart. They knew that calling rhae melodramatic was going to provoke exactly that reaction.

i think dwlee should have known that would be starting a fight. so i don't know why they called rhae melodramatic not expecting a fight.

I guess what I'm trying to think through is why does scum dwlee think its worthwhile to get tunneled by rhae in particular? I could very easily see *that sort of interaction* being theatre, but its hard to say without seeing it myself.

i don't think dwlee thinks town!rhae has any particiular influence enough and calling her behavior out might have been just like 'hey you don't need to be acting this way'.

Idk its interesting. I feel like non-partnered dwlee probably just complains about rhae in the scum PT if they are really that annoyed.

But the point is to get into a fight in pseudo public.

Her town council looks all town from what i can see.
i mean outside a few people like titus. She wanted me, mastina, junko on it. I know all three of those are 100% town.
outside herself, andante (so high town not gonna go there), Titus. Not seeing where scum Rhae master plan is coming from outside of others going like "well her picks were never going to happen so it didn't matter" like guys if you don't think she honestly wanted the king and her picks then we are like not getting anywhere with this.

also rhae was pretty self aware that shea would shoot her. I feel like if rhae was doing some master scum plans. She wouldn't be trying so hard to get her message across to get him to shoot her. But hey maybe scum!rhae has no survival instinct. Maybe she thinks she can overthrow shea. Maybe she thinks if she yells enough town will make her king she elects a full town council and then she manipulates mastina of her coat tails till the end of the game and wins. Maybe this is what Rhae is all thinking and im underestimating her.

As someone who was not going to shoot rhae I know that she was self aware of no such thing.
