Avoiding embarrassment at all costs is the #1 reason I play mafia.
Would especially like to hear something more from Mega and duckling.

aisa's defense comes off townie but it's curious that it was posted from a motivation standpoint. why not let furtive fight his own battles
Would love to hear what you think the motivation might be
I'll be back later with chunkier thoughts
Still curious. I contemplated letting this go but then realised I'd look like a fool if I asked a bunch of questions without others answering them and since my primary motivator in life is avoiding embarrassment at all costs, well
Presumably it means you either townread him strongly and are imo playing badly by not letting him defend himself on the off chance you're wrong, or are partners.

The first line is obviously facetious. I never embarass myself more than when I play mafia.
Yeah because neither one has given me any compelling reason yet to tr them.

what have they done in the main thread that's supposed to be interesting to you
I don't think you're scum with Meg but think Meg is scum.
i am less amenable to this plan simply because i think yume is town, suspect you are town, and have a low level of confidence on my ability to read megazu when megazu isn't really doing anything.
fine waiting for you to respond to this if you have ~reasons~ but i'd prefer firing on the iguanas then putting the squeeze on megazu aorn
In post 246, the worst wrote:i feel like other people are having more valuable interactions than i can really have rn but i'll bbl
Why is this?
i like to probe conversations but it felt like what was being talked about was more interesting than anything i was likely to produce so i went and did irl things instead
i'm like, quite wary of aisa right now, but i think the way flea aisa and furtive were corresponding was more interesting than me saying "i don't think i trust aisa" so kinda just left it. i think flea is seeing a variation of what i'm nervous about and i think the way furtive is interacting with the thread is proooobably coming from a place of having underdeveloped reads & over-relying on tone but i'm not really sure.
anything in particular motivate you to ask this & do you have a take on the flea/aisa/furtive dynamic?
I think you’re an easier sort when you replace into games and was a bit bothered to see you opting to not provide content
wrt flea/furtive/Aisa I am becoming less suspicious of furtive more recently, I may think about Aisa a bit more though as I see her content in-thread as a bit odd. Flea I’m pretty solid about my TR on rn

Most of Asia’s ISO is inoffensive on inspection but this feels weird. I don’t really try to make a big deal about whether or not I’m following up on questions despite it being a common misconception that lack of follow-up from me is scummy. This feels mildly self-conscious as a result.

Aisa’s posting is usually self-conscious in my experience so nia for her. I’d say.

Like, gamma is supposedly one of your top suspects because of this unexplained action; I have set up an alley oop for you to get answers, and you're standing there checking out the bleachers
Ngl I'm a bit baffled by you trying to instigate between these two, why not ask for yourself?
