i don't want to get into a repeat argument over setup spec in a datisi game
last time i did i almost had aneurysm trying to argue with a player who said i had to be scum because of setup spec and i wasn't.

I don't have any experience with mod datisi. I played a game of his... in 2020 I think. I was town and the last miselim. it was painful. I forgot the setup.

what I'm doing is laying out the setup so we can see what roles are sticking out as unlikely or more likely to mesh well as mafia roles, and then also if we can trust 'auto'.

I'll argue that if datisi is an unpredictable moderator who makes his games hard to guess and unpredictable, then that unpredictability also spills out when we're playing role madness and are discussing mechanical wins that ignore scumhunting.

like for MT to be scum she has to be a traitor. that's quite limiting, it makes scumhunting her wonky cause the entirety of her d1-d2 whatever play is not likely to be denouncing informed or anything like that.

Klick IMO only makes sense as a traitor. I copy pasted his d1 readslist here a page ago. he simply puts his hood in a scumpile of three people (with petapan). I'm not gonna tell you I KNOW klick, but I played as a scumbuddy with klick and I think he'd play all scum hood different than bussing both partners. I'm pretty sure klick would go like 'oh theyre towny in the hood' and then pretend like he was pocketed or whatever. not this.

then ari and furt only make sense as traitor, you know that already. and fireisR, if you're town, didn't make the kill, so eitehr traitor or just town.

then there's me. I know I'm town but if I'm scum, the way I played my role doesn't make any sense either if I'm starting in groupscum. of course I can be a traitor as well just like everybody else.

mechanically I could still be groupscum but I would just never play a scum killing role like that. I just complained at you WIFOMing with 'i'd never do x' but I'd never give kills to town I don't have that kind of range as scum. if I'm a traitor my role is cool and makes perfect sense and I'm not arguing against traitor!gimli ideas, but never as groupscum.

U said they can't mechanically be scum. This is a game play reason why they can't be group scum.

I do feel like with how carelessly we have all been talking about a possible traitor, that a traitor does exist though.

Dayplay doesn't make sense for klick as traitor or scum with how he interacted with teammates unless he literally planned to solo this game.

FireR didn't change anything and im only thinking this if possible that maybe FireR can block and kill to make himself look clear.

I want FireR to solve more instead of continueing to profess this game is so hard and we are likely going to make wrong choices. He is a broken record.
